2023 'Vette, 2011 R8. Corvette is bone stock, R8 is mostly stock except for a titanium exhaust.

I wanted to see how well I could take stuff rendered in SFM and composite it into external footage - in this case, a random image, but the principle for video is the same. The next step I want to take is to get motion tracked camera data into SFM, as well as shaped shadow catchers to get the SFM character to cast shadows onto IRL props

Have had the old R8 with the "r-tronic" gearbox. The gear changes are like the Aventador, quite a neckbreaker, haha. It's ridiculous, what a huge difference the gearbox alone can do. The R8 with the S-Tronic I drove, was mental.
seems like the biggest difference is the transmissions, power/weight seems to be about the same, r8 might be a tad quicker
Yeah, that automated manual is pretty much the only reason the R8 doesn't outright win every single time. That being said, I still love the way it shifts lol

It is true , but when the car first came out , 400 hp was still a lot in that time. It's just insanity that in the span of like 10 years , cars that are now considered "fast" are all above 700 hp. I have a 325 hp volvo and i don't consider it the fastest car , but it's really nice to do a pull in it still.@@kylep3759

@@IloveEaster in the future? Yes, it definitely can, current block 3 F-35’s air to air capabilities is very close to the raptor. The upcoming block 4 update would make the F-35 much better, and it would probably beat the raptor in air to air capabilities as well, at least in bvr.

Nothing over the RS3 has DSG's, they have 8 speed Tiptronic's instead, DSG's are really only for slower cars but that have good shift speed
