How hard is it to access the pilot seat? It looks very tight unless you’re a small person.
It can be a little challenging but I have a technique that seems to work for me. It's very comfy and reasonably spacious once youre in though. If I have passenger in the co-pilot seat, I always get them in first though.
@@jetboxtv my brother owns a DA 42 and I really like the open canopy to access the cockpit and the gulf wing doors to access the cabin.. Much easier that way especially since we are both 6’3” and about 200 pounds.

Love the plane, may I ask what the failure message was on the CAS screen?
Hi, it's showing an Alternator Failure on ALT1 but it is a bug as the alternator is workimg. I've had my maintenance team look at it but they can't identify the issue so it needs firther investigation which will involve me losing the aircraft for a few days. I'll be dropping it back for an inspection shortly.

Was full right pedal kept in until close to lift-off? Not great for the tailboom, I'd guess. The fuselage moves on the skids around 0:42, might be from when the tail rotor blades start to bite and gain effectiveness. Nice 500 though.
