Thanks for sharing! Found a second hand one for 100 USD ,wondering if it is worth it incase the module goes. I am a guitarist/bassist but can play a beat and my acoustic kit is a wreck and I don't want to waste money on drum mics.

Gibson sounds more open and woody sounding, the Epiphone sounds more compressed, but really good! In someways I like the sound of the Epiphone better. Less overtones. But when it comes right down to it I generally like Martins better than Gibsons. The Epiphone j45 is a very good guitar for the price.

Cool sounds good. I’ve got the exact same thing with a quad box for home use only. Is it ok to run such a small wattage amp into a high watt quad box? If you crank it could it blow something?

It sounds horrible please just spend the extra 100 and get something decent for the long run

The gibson sounds brighter to my ears . The epiphone still sounds a great guitar though. Maybe if the bridge saddle and pins got changed to tusq we may hear it sound more closer to the gibson

Hey! Faced such a problem. My Spider V 20 MKII worked fine, but today when I selected a preset in the Spider V Remote, the program with my AMP froze, the AMP did not make any sounds. I decided to restart it, and after the restart, the lights on the FX buttons turned on and then faded out, it refuses to work and Line 6 Updater does not see it, what should I do? Please help 🙏

Can't comment on your promo video because it's set to Made for Kids content...also the music is way too loud and you can't hear what you're saying at all. Just a suggestion to delete that video, fix the dialog and reupload as a normal not made for kids video.

Gibson was definitely better but give the Epiphone some age and replace the strings and they’d be pretty close I reckon.

Both would be greatly improved by less body depth. And the Epiphone should maintain the 24.75 scale length, which works with this model. Looks like they lengthened it. ??

I have the slash Epi J45, I’m overly satisfied with the sound, but to hear the 2 is really incredible. With where I’m at in life I don’t appreciate the acoustic world enough to have one 😂 maybe the right time will come!

I have an all solid wood Epiphone AJ45M It sounds almost identical to the Epiphone J45, depending on the strings it has less bass response, is quite midrangey and sounds more overbuilt with stiffer bracing, much like some of the 1960s Gibson J45s and J50s.

That amp is so impressive in terms of budget prices

The Gibson has a lushness that the Epiphone lacks. In a noisy bar gig with a crappy PA, it wouldn't make much difference. In fact, you're better off with the epi because it's going to get damaged eventually.

The Epiphone sounds good, but the Gibson ´slightly´ better 🙂
