Washington Wing, Civil Air Patrol
United States
Приєднався 17 лис 2016
In the late 1930s, more than 150,000 volunteers with a love for aviation argued for an organization to put their planes and flying skills to use in defense of their country. As a result, the Civil Air Patrol was born one week prior to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Thousands of volunteer members answered America's call to national service and sacrifice by accepting and performing critical wartime missions. Assigned to the War Department under the jurisdiction of the Army Air Corps, the contributions of Civil Air Patrol, including logging more than 500,000 flying hours and saving hundreds of crash victims during World War II, are well documented.

The video is here!! 🎉
The version we saw at encampment was 100x more fire
I 100% agree with you. The problem is that the songs used in the original version that was showed to us at encampment were all copyrighted, so they couldn’t use them for this video
" GET YOUR FEET 12 INCHES APART NOW." -my staff ☺️
12 inches is crazy
The Metric system sucks! C/2LT Stuart A. Lucas
looking back at this being one of the editors for this video this shi is lowkey cringy lmao
I attended in 2006. Best balance between meeting all the required training and real life field experience. I attended NESA on one side was death by PowerPoint and too little field. On the other extreme I attended all levels of HMRS. The basic and advanced courses although very realistic field experience, there was a lack of class environment that was not conducive to learning some concepts.
Generic with a J
this was so much fun! can’t wait to go back next year
Thanks for the great video PA!
Was very fun!! Where’s ATS??
I didn't see it either!
“GET OUT OF MY ALLEYWAY!” -Literally every line staff cadre member
Can confirm I used that so many times lol
Delta Flight Sergeant checking in "Devil Dogs"
Outstanding! Hope everyone enjoyed great Camp Rilea
when will cf 27 come out?
never
BRAVO IS THE BESTEST! # I went to 27

I was there and let's just say bravo was the best
I was in Bravo too!
I finally found I've ben looking for this video since the encampment DELTA DUCKS
LIMA BEANS!
I was there
This was fun for me.
Same (even though I was a basic)
Delete this lil bro🔥😭🙏💀💀
@@Senior2002H blud. I went there
i had a lot of fun there
I'm a field grade officer in the Army now, but I made cadet captain in CAP before leaving the program a long time ago, but attribute a lot of my success in the military to the program in my formative years. My first born son is almost 1 month old, and I can't wait to talk to him about the program and hopefully get involved myself when he's eligible.
It was a fun time for sure
What Flight were you in? I was in Golf

This guy has no idea what he's talking about lmao.
i was in this class.
Little flustered with some of the info this kid passed to your folks. Lot of mis speaks, acronyms butchered. This young LT hadn’t even been through flight school. Calling him a pilot while he has 0 experience, and no wings is absolutely incorrect. He passed no good info on what actually happens in this career field. He spoke as if he had actually done the mission. Which is misleading. You’d be doing your kids a huge service by getting ahold of a qualified crew member.
Man I really want to do this program but I have the fitness level of a rock
Yeah, now I am sad I missed out
That Charlie Flight Commander looks mighty handsome
I personally like the dashing fellow at 0:15
@@johnweir Indeed.... he is quite dashing.
Awesome fun times at Camp Casey!
When are you going to post the main encampment video? I wanna see foxtrot flight in front of that blackhawk. -foxtrot flight sergeant
nd dree Get outta here Drees! You and your strange cat-toting family
The PA team is working on the public version of the video and it may take a week or two to create.
"Strong winds may be coming soon" what a blast. from an Alpha Flight basic.
Check out that handsome second lieutenant!
Very handsome, sir!
This activates my PTSD
0:26 When you find out your first sergeant staffed the encampment one year before yours and looked just the same. Also go Charlie Flight and Squadron Two is better than your (squadron guidon chant).
Yes you already know squad 2 is better
Delta Flight FTW! lol
"Delta whatcha doin here?Squad 4's coming run in fear!"
Dude that was epic
Foxtrot flight

@@danicaoslund6083 Hotel FTW -Hart
@@danicaoslund6083 You referencing Aloysius
This was my first year at Encampment. It was hard the first 3 days (including day 0) but it got a lot better. I'm Hart. I was in Hotel Flight, our squadron won the White Grove award. I can't wait to be staff!
I loved the first 3 days, cause to be honest, yelling was pretty fun, however I did go through a lot of halls and ricolas.
I was like the backbone of my flight (no offense or bragging) and the loudest by far in the beginning, so literally every day when we were in formation, I was handed 2 or 3 cough drops (throughout the day) by my Flight Commander
heyy hart its falcaoooo lol loved encampment made so many good memories there. and how could we forget the dance😂
Gosh, I absolutely loved encampment. A lot of cadets from my home squadron are in these photos. We were Golf Flight, I'm Oslund, the Gold Guide-On Bearer. We got Honor Squadron, Honor Flight, and I got Honor Cadet.
Cool, I'm still salty at Squadron 4, But my flight did get honor flight twice in a row, so I have that to say.
Hey, sup! I was in hotel, we where in the same squad! I'm Hart
