Dear Elizabeth , I suppose you Love Natalie as much as I do!!!!! I like your rendition of "River" and I think you sing in a way that is close to her but you made it your own!!! You are a fantastic singer and I hope you are making a living at it. I was sad to hear about River but I suppose he was needed in Heaven. I hope someday you get to preform with her. She is such a beautiful soul. I am not a musicly inclined person, but her music has always spoken to me. One year I went to Lilith fair and brought her one of my paintings. It was from the song "Kind and Generous"Natalie brought it out on stage.When I saw tears in her eyes I realized that her music touched me deeply and my art touched her!!!!!!! I don't care how much money I make or if I am ever known as an Artist. That day was the high point of my art career. She fueled a fire in me. It's funny how different Artistic mediums can impact and influence each other. If you are ever in North Carolina I hope you can play Charlotte. I will be the first in line!!!!! James Parsons

As the song builds from 2:18 forward, your voice takes on such a confidence and you really capture the emotion in Natalie Merchant's original version. It's the strongest cover I've heard from there until the end. The, for lack of a better word, 'flutter' in your vocals leading up to 2:18 lacks that later confidence, but overall this is an amazing cover!
