    Its all about mobility and The right coaching. without mobility and golf focused workouts, your body would just not be able to propely move how it should be. Learning from a young age significantly helps as well. Unfortunately.

    The issue is most amateur golfers have hit great shots so their bodies can move the way it's supposed to. It just doesn't do it with any sort of consistency.

    I shot 150 one time (85 front 65 back). I remember looking at all the golfers on the course and I knew I was the worst player out there. I told myself I’m either going to quit or I’m going to learn how to play. I had 100 rounds or so where I averaged between 115-130, no lie. I normally shoot between 75-85 now. My goal is simple now…don’t shoot 100+ ever again!

      Lol most people, if scored the same way a PGA tour player was scored, would consistently shoot 100+. Everybody I know “shoots” 80-90, except they aren’t counting drops, mulligans, etc etc

    • @chopper5245
      @chopper5245 15 годин тому

      @@Hybridders Very true. Played in a huge 4 man scramble last week. Heard a guy from the winning team say something about they had a lot of gimmies. I thought wow I wonder how many of their gimmies were 5-10 footers? In a tournament you’re supposed to putt out but, oh well, they won so they’re feeling great this week about themselves.

    • @Hybridders
      @Hybridders 14 годин тому

      @@chopper5245 Probably a fair amount of 5-10 footers that were haphazardly called "good." The funny thing with that is, you're already playing a scramble! How much more assistance do you need? Used to bug me to no end. I just always thought it was weird not wanting to know exactly what you shot, and that the shame of being perceived as "bad" consistently outweighed that.

    • @chopper5245
      @chopper5245 9 годин тому

    Most and around 80% of instructors are crap 💩 . Golf is NOT Stagnant!! Tour player has some kind of trigger movement. Best advice watch Martin Borgmeiers video for 30+Y gain in your distance. SURPISE HE SWAYS AND HITS IT 400y, HE’S A ROCKEN BACK AND FORTH AND HITS IT 400y, he stands stagnant and hits it 350y. Your sequenceing and timing are Very important. If your body can’t move correctly and you’re coordinated in other sports, take some lessons. A PGA teaching Pro can get you on track. A simple thing like a correct grip may be all you need. Golf ain’t baseball; you can’t grip a golf club like a baseball bat and expect good results. So see a Pro and get a few fundamentals under your belt and you’ll be on your way. This works even if you’re not coordinated. And you’re likely to enjoy the game even if you don’t become a scratch golfer.
