Auto detailing is a hobby of mine and I started this channel as a way to share it with those who enjoy car detailing videos. Along the way I would like to give tips, tutorials, and product reviews. Other cleaning or major cleaning transformations may also make it on this channel as well as anything else I think people might enjoy watching.

Would love to know the ph of the acid. I use Descale in a spray bottle on areas that have light spotting, but Descale seems mildly acidic according to some listings online.
I’m not sure the ph level of the acidic. If I can find that out I’ll get back to you!
I should get the pH neutral one for my ceramic coated car , because no one wants to bring out the complete pressure washer setup during winter
@@Bull1the1Great that’s a great use for a rinseless wash!
@@Bull1the1Great don’t do it! Idrosave is like a wash & coat. Preludio will work with any rinseless.
Alkaline smells amazing too!
@@seabrew1 yeah it does!

great video bro
@@Ecdetails thanks so much man!
hey man, do you think Preludio Acidic would be effective for road salt clogging in the winter? I asked on Labo's UA-cam channel but apparently they don't respond to comments. Normally I would use DIY WSR periodically, but I don't always want to have to use a hose to rinse it off in the winter.
@@jeffc6832 Ya it will be , it almost as good as purifica in terms of bringing a coating back and removing minerals just play with the dilutions
@@jeffc6832 yeah dude absolutely. Like EC said, it’s like their acidic shampoo but doesn’t have to be rinsed after.
@@Ecdetails thanks bro

Seemed like a fairly straight car outside of the dirtiness, you’ve brought it back to full glory well done!! What would you suggest to refreshen the headlights, I see what you’ve done and they look miles better. Mine have a hazing and foggy look, didn’t wanna have to buy new or use sandpaper.. Also how long does a detail like this take you? Or did it take you. Is this spread out over multiple days. When I go this detailed it may take me a few days
@@Arnerse appreciate the kind words. For your headlights, if you want something quick you can use a wool or microfiber pad with a cutting compound and then finish with a foam polishing pad and polish and they will look a ton better. If you want to go a step further you could do 1500, 2k, 3k wet sand and re spray with 2k clear coat. There are a lot of videos on that process. As far as how long this detail takes me, it is a 2 day job because of pulling those ads. If I didn’t pull the seats it would be a one day job. Hope that helps!
@@atouchofhutchad i love that you reply to 4 yr old videos! I will have to look into that process, I’m a bit wary as I don’t want to worsen them. But they could use a refresh, sitting at 146k it’s the worst looking thing on the car. What did you perform in this video? The sandpaper way it sounded like! Right on I’ve never removed seats during a detail or had the convenience of a steamer but you made quick attentive work. If you could pick an item or two that made your job much easier what would they be and why?
@@Arnerse in this video I just did a compound and polish and honestly, it shouldn’t hurt yours, I wouldn’t be afraid to try it. As far as my process goes, I’ve changed a lot since then lol. If you’re trying to do the same with your vehicle I would look into the P&S 3 step carpet system or the Labocosmetica 2 step system. I don’t use APC on fabrics anymore, it can just cause issue down the line.
0:35 what's the name of the part around the tyre?
Sorry, I’m not sure what part you’re talking about.
Maybe kenda a cheap china tire brand
When you are not using it, how would you maintain the DI water system? Is it okay to have the water sit there for 2~3 weeks without using it? (because normally I wash my car about twice a month). Or you have to dry the resin?
@@hyde4never that’s a good question. Maybe a good question for Spotless Systems. I use mine often so I don’t run into that problem. I suppose you could tear it down each time and get as much water out as possible or run it once a week. I think the only real concern would be mold so as long as that didn’t form you would probably be ok. I really hoped this helped. But really, reach out to Spotless Systems, they are very helpful.
I would put on a quick connect banjo fittings. Much faster connection and disconnecting the hose.
Good idea!
What are the filters called that go inside them "????

@@2StallGarage thank you!
is that a drywall texture gun you're using to paint with? I see now that is the colored bedliner.
Should have cut the mastic around the full pump access in the rear. Now with the bedliner on top it will be much harder to remove that cover plate if you have fuel pump replacement.
Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that lol
I got JBA arms for mine, not sure they are still made though.
I think they still are made for this Jeep! I’m excited to get them soon. Hope you like yours!
@@atouchofhutchad had them since 2016 and no issues. Did require an alignment.
I just rebuilt the rear diff on my 2002 Liberty. Different style yoke on that one. is that the D30 rear diff?

I just got mine and what you’re saying makes sense until I get to the outlet side. The collared part of your y-valve it attached to the filter output, and it has no close valve. So when you’re running the bypass, what’s making the water follow into your pressure washer instead of being pushed into the filter outlet hole? I mean I’m watching you use it so I guess it works, but something here is off to me. I’m not a plumber nor do I fully understand the internals of the y-valve, but it seems like your bypass would be pushing water into both the other opened valve as well as into the “collared” valve that is attached into the outlet of the filter. Maybe once you have already used the filter, and it’s now full of water, and the inlet valve is closed, when the water goes all the way thru the bypass and reaches the y-valve on the other side, the collared valve is “plugged” bc the filter is full of water which has no place to escape so the water is forced to go to the other open valve which leads to the pressure washer
I see exactly what you mean and I honestly can’t tell you the mechanics of it. I guess as the water goes into the inlet side and when you have your Y-splitter set to filter or not it will just force it into the pressure washer. Mine works well and I hope yours does too!
Me lo pueden mandar a Mexico
Is it worth to pay $75 for this accessory rather than make on your own? Do you just need the y splitter, extra bypass hose material, two connectors to connect bypass to Y splitters? Do you also need some additional adaptor to then connect the y hose into/out from the filter?
It was worth it for me to pay the extra to get something I knew would work because I’m not sure of my ability to put one together lol but by all means- if you have the ability to build one, I’d say go for it!
Where did you get your attachments for your pressure washer
The gun I purchased from Amazon, I would recommend getting something better like MTM or active. The foam cannon is MJJC and the hose is an Uberflex 50ft
Thanks for the video!
Thank you too!
1 ounce is a lil high on the mix ratio for foam cannon isn't it? Thought it called for like 19ml or so
Instructions say anywhere from 13-30 depending on application method. I didn’t think 1 oz was too much for 1000 ml and I’ve had good results as you can see
I’ve been looking for a video like this. Can’t wait to watch your content bro
Dude thanks so much!
I just got Mine and the bypass is a great idea, I’m going to do that. I was thinking making everything quick connect but the bypass is even better imo. However, the reason they recommend a new hose is so old mineral build up doesn’t end up contaminating your fresh clean water. That’s the only issue that still exists with your setup. Even though you bought a new hose you are running both clean and unclean water through it depending on if the bypass is on or off. That would leave the risk of contamination in the hose getting in your clean water when you don’t the water through the spotless, after you just ran water with minerals in it through the same hose during your rinse. Maybe you’ve already thought of this or there’s another comment. I would use a dedicated clean water hose and a dedicate “rinse” hose if I were you. Or just run all the water through the spotless.
Appreciate the great tips! For me, the TDS meter is so handy to have to know I have clean water coming through my pressure washer, even though your suggestion of a rinse hose is a great idea too!
i need to do this to my 05 TL. i detail it every week but i need to shampoo it and clay treat the paint

Dude, thank you so much! I appreciate the kind words and so glad my vids are helping you. I hope your project goes well, keep us updated!
I just came across this video. I own a Liberty and have always liked the idea of spraying bed liner on all the black plastic on the exterior. Is this for sound isolation?
That was part of it but not the main reason. It was a good idea to cover the rust and it just so happens that my dad had all the tools, equipment and knowledge to do it. I also don’t plan on being gentle with this Jeep so it was for that too lol
What pressure did you set your compressor at when spraying?
@@chrisblock-mg7dd I can’t remember but I’m sure each bed liner manufacturer will have their recommended psi
