Jesus' Tears — Jim Beardsley
For those of us who have experienced the pain of child loss, we need to draw near to God now more than ever. However, in the midst of our trauma, God can sometimes feel far away. Questions and confusion naturally arise. If we trusted Him and this horrible event happened, how can we continue to trust Him? Who is this God that allowed this to happen? Does He really care about me? Does it even make a difference? What makes a person cry says a lot about them. We certainly have shed our share of tears while grieving the death of our children. In this session, we will explore the things that brought tears to the eyes of Jesus. By examining these events, we hope to better understand the heart and character of Jesus in a way that will help us embrace His love and trustworthiness and experience His personal presence amidst our sorrow.

Enlargement by Grief - Mark Roser
Переглядів 2321 день тому
Enlargement by Grief (aka Good Grief) is a deep dive into God’s redemptive purposes in allowing grief and sorrow. Because God loves, He knows full well what it feels like to have a heart full of pain. But God can use our greatest sorrow to transform us in ways nothing else can. The Bible has much to say about how God works the worst things in life for our good and the good of others. Mark's Web...

Learning to Lament - Mark Vroegop
Переглядів 3,7 тис.Рік тому
To cry is human, but to lament is Christian. Sadly, many Christians are not familiar with this biblical and historic prayer language. When grief and sadness strike, believers need to know how to talk to God about their sorrow. Lament is a prayer in pain that leads to trust, and there is grace available to those who learn how to pray their way through pain. If you are a grieving parent, we invit...

A Message to Bereaved Moms About Mother's Day
Wow, this truly helped me understand what exactly I’m going through. Beautiful taught, greatly helpful❤
Thank you for this revelational explanation. What a comfort!
I have had a similar journey since our 2nd son died in an accident at age 8 thirty-three years. After all my questioning and wrestling God is still God. I am Leroy's mom.
I never really understood lamenting until this message. For years i have gone into a deep prayer not only for myself but others where i begin praying that turns into a wailing that goes on until im free of the pain or the pain leaves my body. Others didnt understand what i was doing and looked at me strangely. But i had no control when i would feel not only my pain but the pain of someone going through. I now understand what it is now. Thank you for this revelation.
I love this, Mel. Thank you so much for your transparency.
Thank you so much Melanie!
Thank you for your courage to share. I am watching from Australia to help a friend. Sending so much love to all of you.
Thank you for sharing this video! I love the community of bereaved parents. So grateful for these ministries... ❤
Thank you ❤
Thank you for sharing! My counselor and I have been discussing the past few months how I am sensing being in a season of lament. Vroegop's articulation has put into words what God has been guiding me through. Feeling deeply encouraged!
This is excellent material that the church needs to teach more!
I enjoyed your video from the conference. Inspiring…uplifting…strengthening. Wish I was there. Looking forward to watching the other webcasts. My son was 54 years old when he made his transition in September 2021. I’m grateful that we had a lot of years together. Miss him terribly. God is my strength. God bless all of you and may God continue to strengthen you all.
Thank you so much for your note. Those memories are precious to us, and the promise of eternity even sweeter.
I feel myself becomming more and more bitter every single day. I have isoated myself from this world and everyone in it. Going on 4 years now
