Hi, thank you for your feedback. But even checking some 80' Bathurst footage I'm not sure what exactly you mean. Do you have a suggestion what to improve?

@@trackcams22 One is able to see in the 70/8-'s racing which car is from which manufacture. .today you have to kook for badge to work out which car is which.

Honestly awesome job man, wished this top split had been broadcasted. Really hope you make it far with this. I myself do a similar job with some editing and camera management for personal use and an iRacing league and I find this fascinating work. I was about to do something similar for this Bathurst since we made it from last to P2 after the crash and gave room for some pretty epic highlights. Keep the hopes up and keep doing great stuff <3

Also for the gyro shots where you control the cam, I think it'd be nice if iRacing implemented some sort of mouse softening or something so that cameras don't look so shaky when rotating, that or inducing it yourself via mouse settings or windows settings would be cool for those shots.

@@AlexSevillanoLledo Hi Alex, thank you. I need to upgrade the PC to be able to make better quality stream for sure. Then I need improved overlays and maybe some commenting later. But for now I think and I experience that live directing/operating the cameras require full focus. I saw the car is slowing down and was not sure what is happening. But nice comeback :)

@@AlexSevillanoLledo Right now I gather feedback and my experience and planning to message iRacing support with ideas. I also don't like the movement or zooming is not soft. Some dampening would help but until then I think some sort of external controller may work. I need to look around and check options.

@@trackcams22 yeah good idea. iRacing seems to be working on several things atm that gives me hopes to think they will upgrade the replay system in some manner since they are working on the new UI etc. we will see what they bring next. Thanks for the replies! I enjoyed driving that Btw, is there any form of closer contact we could have? I have some proposal/ideas that may be of your interest but rather talk more privately/directly :)

This is a modified chase cam. I don't do anything additional. Maybe its a graphic setting related. I'm not sure.

Thanks @JonathonBarton. For me it takes some runs as well to change focus car in the right moment and get the shot. I practice a few times before I record :)

@@trackcams22 That's what I suspected - that you are getting the same results I am and 'cherry picking' the good shots for the videos. =) I hope eventually iRacing improves the camera controls (even a little bit), so we might have enough control over a blimp camera so that it's only active when the car is between X and Y on the track AND the blimp is in the closest part of its arc near X and Y so we could have repeatable "wire" cameras like those shots, *and* we could use them reliably rather than today's hit or miss, make 50 takes and use the best one... /sigh

Thank you. An early VR version is available and I already identified improvement areas. I just still don't have a VR set and without that further developing and testing it is really really difficult. Maybe one day :)

Right. The on track experience is something very unique compared to a broadcast and I wanted to take it to the virtual world. I'm curious to see how this concept can be further enhanced. Once we have better sound with reverb that just alone will add a ton of immersion, not to mention the on/off throttle, near/far sound level variances that you can hear from a real car.

@@OffbeatBryce hi, Patreon currently doesn't contain all the cameras, just the new stuff and for limited time. It only contains new developments before public release and sometimes special versions that never makes public or for broadcasters only. Rudksogen from 2022S4 build for example is already on Patreon. It is mostly for people who already use and like my cameras and want to support me and want to have regular updates and early access.
