In this video, I showcase NanoScan's capabilities in horizon detection, object detection, and tracking, all without using artificial intelligence techniques like YOLO, EfficientDet, or SSD. Instead Nanoscan utilizes a custom computer vision algorithm to detect moving objects of interest. This allows Nanoscan to operate without utilizing heavy processing units such as GPUs and permits a low footprint.
NanoScan operates on a Raspberry Pi and utilizes OpenCV for processing. The video highlights the Israel Iron Dome as well as a video game Arma.
