Just installed a set of 43-818HD 3 leaf 3950 pound leaf springs on the front of my 2002 ford f350. I couldn't find much info on ride quality or how much lift you gained by running the bigger springs. The reason for this video is to answer questions you may have about this upgrade.

I run a 6 position tuner on my ‘99. 50hp, better transmission control. Without that, these trucks are so slow. I was going down a straightaway with my tuner off the other day and spotted a patrolman hidden and clocking people. I quickly checked my speed and I was going 42 in a 50. It is a dually, auto transmission. I used to daily it, but the main purpose is pulling my camper. I would not trade it for anything.

The value of a 7.3 is insane. I have two with a combined 900,000 miles. They run great and produce revenue daily. Paid for and insurance/taxes are cheap.

Found a 91 250 7.3 idi for 500$ in june this year, Truck definitely is a rust belt survivor as the underside of the cab is rotting out and some bits under the radiator are gone, but the engine seems like it should run once again with not a whole lot of work, and I'll probably have someone help me patch the rot and try to daily it as it's still able to be saved.

I got a 97 f250 a few months back. Finally got it registered and working on fixing all of the worn out stuff and re doing the poor quality work done by previous owners. Runs great at 380k miles. Everywhere I look it has had stuff replaced. Most recently looks like a new fuel pump in the valley. Maybe the bowl. Leaks a bit of oil from basically e erywhere but not nearly as bad as the steady drip from my r50 pathfinder it's going to replace soon. Gotta get my steering Freeplay figured out before I really start driving it more.

I’ve had 4 7.3 power stroke trucks. Started with a 97 f350 crew cab dually Auto 2wd, 2000 f250 2wd 6spd, 1999 crew cab f250 2wd auto with flatbed and dually conversion the flatbed got wrecked and I took the motor out and put it in a e99 f350 extended cab auto 4x4 dually. The only truck I truly miss is the 97 dually as it had the lowest miles, 87k. It drove great ran great had a few small issues from sitting but everything except the rear passenger window worked. I now own a 94 7.3 IDI that was factory turbo but I put a non turbo engine in since the turbo motor was bad, left the turbo off because I really like the easy access and I live in Louisiana so it’s all flat. End goal is to probably power stroke swap it and convert to 5 speed 4x4. Right now it’s an auto 2wd dually.
