Their inter-action was about as close as any I have ever seen on TV or in the movies. I really believe they loved each other, not in the physical sense but in the genuine friendship kind of love. It came across as real on the TV screen. I still watch episodes on the INSP channel all the time. They bring back memories of a different time and when right was right and wrong was wrong but at the same time, a strong sense of justice when it was called for. Too bad the same cannot be said for most of what is on TV and in the movies today.

The song don't jive with Gunsmoke but whoever did this, did a great job. Matt Dillon didn't get killed and Newly wasn't his son and Miss Kitty sure wasn't a Christian woman. However. My hats off to whoever did this. I'm a Gunsmoke nerd and even though this song isn't in line with the Gunsmoke story, they did a great job telling the story with footage from Gunsmoke.
