O mais interessante é o caminho que o filme percorre, que é abordar o tema das consequências nefastas que um abuso sexual na infância e adolescência,acarreta aos indivíduos que no filme A Deusa de 1967, é mostrado através do pai de B.G., que na verdade é também o seu avô materno,ou seja: B.G. é fruto do relacionamento incestuoso,sem consentimento, da mãe dela com o pai da mesma, que no final resultaria assim: a mãe de B.G. engravidou do próprio pai, que viria ser "pai- avô" da própria filha, que é a B.G.!🤔. E esse "pai- avô", vendo B.G. na adolescência, já almeja abusar sexualmente dela... Que ocasiona a mãe de B.G., fugir com a própria filha!👍. Belíssimo é o final do filme,na qual B.G. encontra o se "pai- avô" já idoso, arruinado e tenta mata- lo com um tiro de revólver mais não consegue, porque é impedida por um japonês que acabará de se apaixonar! Ou seja: nada melhor para curar um trauma,do que amar alguém!❤️. Uma pena a atuação espetacular de Rose Byrne ter ficado de fora do Oscar 2001 ( na qual teve na disputa Ellen Burstyn por Réquiem para um Sonho, e saiu vencedora do prêmio Julia Roberts pelo filme Erin Brockovich) e no Oscar 2002 (na qual teve na disputa Nicole Kidman pelo filme Moulin Rouge, e saiu vencedora Halle Berry pelo filme A Última Ceia), mais a mesma foi premiada no Festival de Veneza de 2000,com a Taça Volpi de Melhor Atriz,no júri presidido pelo cineasta checo Milos Forman!👍. No mais,um filme excelente, recomendo A Deusa de 1967!
