🌏✍️Dear global family... as usual I'm not just updating on the RTS LINK MALAYSIA-SINGAPORE CURRENT PROJECT WORK PROGRESS but bringing you guys to some interesting places to visit here in Johor Bahru City, Malaysia This month, August 2024, after showing you the RTS LINK work progress...I bring you guys to Sungai Segget, Pasar Karat and JB Sentral. THANKS FOR WATCHING ------------------------ ✍️What is RTS LINK MALAYSIA-SINGAPORE? Well, Rapid Transit System Link (RTS LINK) is a mega project between Singapore and Malaysia. RTS LINK PROJECT is a Railway Shuttle link approximately 4km in length with 2 Stations, one in Bukit Chagar Johor Bahru, Malaysia and one in Woodlands, Singapore. The link will be a modern Light Rail Transit (LRT) System that will provide high volume, fast and efficient transportation system between the two stations. The link will be integrated with public transport systems at both stations, providing an alternative means of transportation that will help alleviate the congestion at immigration checkpoints for both countries. The link will have a capacity of 10,000 passengers per hour, per direction and an expected ridership of about 40,000 passengers per day upon opening. Malaysian Immigrations, Custom and Quarantine (ICQ) and Singapore Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) facilities will be co-located within the same building to allow the entire immigration process of leaving and entering both countries to be completed at the station. Hence, upon arrival, passengers will just leave the station without needing to go through border crossing again. RTS LINK is 65% completed as per 31 Dec 2023. It is scheduled to be completed by December 2026 and start operating on January 2027. As of January 2024, The RTS is planned to begin operations by End of 2026. THE ISTANA (PALACE) is the official residence of the President of the Republic Of Singapore. It occupies over 40 hectres in Orchard Road and is an important part of Singapore's history and heritage. Built by the British Colonial government to house its government - completed 1869. Designed and built by Colonial Engineer Major John Frederick McNair and formerly known as the Government House. It's open for public 5 times a year namely: National Day, Christmas, Chinese New Year, Deepavli and Hari Raya. Today is the National Day Istana Open House (IOH). Free entrance for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents. $20 fee for foreigners and additional $10 entrance fee to enter the Palace...worth it...it was paid for by my prince...thank you very much my Prince Emerald... God bless you more abundantly and always. I used to go here around 2003 or 2004, back then there were a lot of shops and people. I bought some toys and also a DVD for a TV show. I went back again around 2021 and it was a completely different experience because it was soo empty and it gave an abandoned mall vibe and around that time it was peak MCO time so I think that may be why the place had a lack of people there

Jesteru, semasa ketibaan , penumpang akan keluar dari stesen tanpa perlu formalities melintasi sempadan. RTS LINK Malaysia dan Singapura dijangka siap pada akhir December 2026 dan mula beroperasi pada Januari 2027. Namun, MRTS menjangka ianya boleh beroperasi lebih awal.
