Hey I'm Mark, I love taking my family out in nature to camp, to hike, go fishing and everything in between. We get to live on the spectacular South West Coast of Australia, this channel is where we document our adventures.
We also do reviews of a lot of camping and outdoor equipment to suit any budget. I'd really like to turn this channel into something fun, but I cannot know what works, and what doesn't work unless you respond (by SUBSCRIBING and LEAVING FEEDBACK on each video). So Please do; and I'll do my best to not let you down! Thanks again, and have a great day! -Mark

I was just about to buy the Alton sleeping pad but thankfully I saw this first. The quality obviously isn’t there so I’ll keep looking.
What a fun journey, I watched it until the end, keep up the spirit.👍
Good job team . Thats so good Gidgee , your kids are going to be so grounded with these experiences . Nice fish by the way and a good shot .
Enjoy Bali 🎉
Thankyou, It was beautiful!
There's supposed to be a lot fo Russians in Bali, avoiding the BS Ukraine War. OMG look at the power lines. I've never wanted to go to Bali as it's slightly dodgy.
We did'nt see any Russians. I wish we had tho, Russians are legendary.
Very surprising to see some of this now actually, I was last in Bali back in 2019 right before COVID hit. Some of the places you passed that are now closed down/extremely run down were bustling bars/restaurants and shops when I was there. Didn't notice is on the first watch, then on second watch after spotting the "Tubes, Bar and Restaurant" (With the big wave wall) at the 4 min mark- it hit. I took a photo standing on top of the surf board attached to that wave wall with a line of people heading into the bar one night. Crazy how much has changed...
wow, I would of never though that! thanks for sharing!
How’s the weather there ? Got 30 hours of flying on Tuesday and land on Thursday !
It was hot and muggy every day! not unpleasant tho.. just enough to always want to be near aircon and a pool. I sweat a fair bit, so if your like me i recommend pack lots of tank tops 😄
Calebs lucky they didn't snatch his hat. I remember when i went there one grabbed mine a ran luvky some local snatched it back before the monkey got to the trees
haha yeah they are cheeky little things!
Good stuff mark, nice editing 🤙🤙
Thanks mate!
Wasn't there flight restrictions due to volcano eruption?
I'd say due to privacy reasons of their family, they'd have filmed before those restrictions were an issue and are posting well after the trip has come to an end
nup, all clear skies!
@@brad.m1997 spot on 👌🏻
Handsome bag! I was on the fence about this pack for a while, but I saw one on FB marketplace at a good price and hit everything I wanted - Made in USA, Large, All black. Even then, I was dilly dallying on actually buying it. But has you said, it's a simple bag no bells and whistles, you can take it on a day hike trip or multi-day trip. It's not as bulky as most bags so you're more inclined to actually USE it. Excited to take it out and do an overnighter.
Sounds like a great deal! Enjoy it!
Nice video 👍
Thanks! stay connected 👍
Fridge sits high, a drop slide would be a good idea
Good idea!
Thanks for the video guys
No problem! stick around for more!😄
As a direct result of this video, I have booked a week off work and will doing 5 days from Collie through to Donnelly River. Thank you for sharing this video :)
Wow, that sounds great!! hope you enjoy it!
👍
Holy shit! 300 yards until your first hole! I've hit millions of rocks on my kokopelli and Alpackarafts.
My Kokopelli has hit thousands of sharp canadian shield granite rocks znd no tears.
@@matthewreynolds1096 which kokopelli do you use? I would like their latest model, the Rodeo. Right now I am using a self bailing Caribou in class IV+ whitewater. It is a light fabric, but seems to be ok in the local rock gardens along the East Slope of the Wind River Mountains. I have to roll up my Hyperlight pack around an inflated pillow and put it in a Sea to Summit drybag, to use as a backrest, but it works well. That self bailing Caribou is great for backpacking and bike touring. Minus the foot brace, it is a sub six pound whitewater boat that I can roll into an 8" x 8" space, before adding camping gear into the pack.
@@RiverogueLanderi use the Recon with self draining floor. It is PVC so a little heavier but with the sharp Canadian Shield granite bedrock of most of our rivers i think it's needed.
I wonder how the 2024 Kokopelli XPD would hold up. It is only 12 pounds. Not sure how much lighter of material than the Recon.
@@RiverogueLander the specs say it uses the same 1000d pvc so i dont know how they shed 1 pound.
There is e a standard footprint that would allow the outer-only option...
Nice review! Do a 2nd video please. And i wonder if its available here in Canada too.
Good call on being unable to separate the inner from the fly. That would be a very useful feature.
Good stuff mark, how much was the temu special?
Use KO10 in the store for 10% off 👍
I've heard the best way to sleep in a hammock is on an angle, one side to your feet on the other side. It helps to create a less bent position.
Yeah it really does, I’m surprised how much it works! 👌
I almost always set my 3x3 tarp asymmetrical one tie out off square or diamond….. This gives you good coverage at the ends of the hammock and on the sides .. I have the full Alton set up … -10 under quilt and -10 sleeping bag …..very toasty…
Great idea! I’m yet to try it set up like that, Thanks! 👌
Cool pockets, cool doors, cool vestibules, cool vertical walls, a bit heavy, a bit bulky looking packaged and yeah I'm with you on the colour. Hey i loved the " Oh it has instructions , don't need them! ". Thanks for the video, Ray.
glad you enjoyed it mate! 👍
"That's for bit" is a pole repair sleeve. Cool videos. Ray.
Sudah lama tidak berjumpa... saya selalu menunggu video kawan...waah besar sekali pohonnya.hendak berkemahkah...
The tree with the marking in it is called a blaze tree I believe, their basically just trail markings, old foresters used to use them back in the day to know where they were going without the gps times 😂👍, good video mate, see ya when I’m back in Albany
Thanks for the info! Yeah will definitely catch up! ☺️👌
Great vid! When have you done this hike?
Oh wow! I thought the glouster tree had been closed? Might be confused with one of the others down south. What a view from up top!! 😍
Yeah it was, this was in about March 2023. Few months before it was closed.. 😢
@@keldersoutdoors Ah I see, glad you guys got the chance to get up there before it was closed! Drove all the way over myself to a rude surprise that it was closed.. Hopefully reopen one day
It’s. Zac😂😂❤
Yes
Hey! 👋
It’s Zach 😂😂😂❤
I climbed that once only went to the first level though. Used to be really scared of heights
It definitely is a lot higher than it looks from the bottom! I had to push Hailey and Jadon to go to the top and they were glad I did cos it’s closed down now. 🥲
Just another queef, trying to be a UA-camr
is it legal to camp there or are just "resting"
Its legal.. just do nothing stupid and have no fires. There are multi-day hikes through the area so for some hikers its a necessity to camp. But often people need to be rescued for different reasons, so its not a good idea for inexperienced ppl to camp there.
Have u always had that prado sticker on ya window?
Only for a few weeks!
Can't wait for the camping video
Good to see the tent back in use, had that thing for a year, done me well. Once u see in a few weeks how my Utes frame is looking you’ll understand what I did 👍👍😂
Looks so rad
Never had octopus before but willing to try it
Reckon I need a hammock at some point I’d say
Everyone needs a Good Hammock I'd say! 😁 They take up no space and are super comfortable.. Great to keep in the car. 👌
Selamat bersantai dengan Ayunan baru. Di tempat kami namanya Ayunan. Terima kasih dan selamat pagi di daerah kami.🙏
Terima kasih ☺️

Great! I wish you all the best and Gods blessings in your travels! ☺
How good is that feeling when you open up your box of Alton goodies …. I always think that there is no way everything you ordered is in the box …. But it always is with room to spare …. I have the bigger double ended stuff sack with the bug net already attached…. Soo good ….. I take the hammock about 90% of the time now ….
haha I totally agree! I always seem to order a bunch of stuff then forget half the things I ordered so I get a nice surprise when ever I'm unboxing! 😂
I vote get a nice quality budget tent
Thats an amazing view. Isn't it somewhere in Albany WA
Yep Mount Melville lookout ☺️
