Regarding "The Spectacle", you pretty much hit the nail on the head what the song is about. It's meant to ultimately be not all that much as while it sounds great, it's all flash and no substance, and you end up with the far better, poignant and emotional song when Rara sings from the heart later in the episode.

Luna's Future. (best on all multi languages of the best singers that did that song) At Number 1. Our Town. (For once Starlight Glimmer has the best Singer for the character role in this song and it delivers. Best Singer of all multilanguages!) Now for the single best vocal, however. At number 5. Pinkie's Lament (German) Pinkie Pie At number 4. B.B.B.F.F. (French) Twilight At number 3. Celestia Ballad (Korean) Princess Celestia At number 2. Luna's Future (Dutch) Princess Luna At Number 1. Our Town (Czech) Starlight Glimmer. English is alright but my gosh I feel like English on some songs can be shamed forever. Japanese will always be very overpowered. I love watching mlp videos , it’s been huge in my whole life , I’ve been watching it since I was three and possibly even earlier from the older generations c: whenever I struggle with my mental health and i need some more support that I can’t get from my family I watch my little pony c: it’s just so comforting to me 💗
