The closing statements in this video do a great job of highlighting how ridiculous the whole video is. Bentonite clay is an aluminum (aluminium, where I live) based clay, aka aluminum phyllosilicate. The suggestion to “make sure ... that the toxins (aluminum) have been removed” suggests you have no idea what bentonite clay actually is. It’s equivalent to saying, “Before drinking water, make sure you remove the hydrogen”. For people considering ingesting bentonite clay, do insure it is “food grade,” and from a company you trust is being honest when they label it as food grade. Aside from possible “contamination” (i.e. presence of unwanted substances such as lead) from the clay deposit / source, the primary introduction of contaminants is from how it is dried. Industrial bentonite is typically dried using heat from a petroleum fired furnace / flame,. The clay passes through that heat via a conveyor belt. The fumes from the fuel source for these furnaces is not typically separated out from the heat. Meaning, it all ends up on the bentonite. This is not an issue when the clay is used industrially (the primary use for bentonite). It is a potential issue when used for eating or even putting on the skin. Petrochemical exhaust products are best not applied to the skin, or eaten. Hence the need for “food grade” bentonite clay. I’ve been eating bentonite for decades. Never noticed an issue from it. Obviously, it should ALWAYS be totally hydrated when you ingest it. Never ingest dry powder such as bentonite in capsules. Fully hydrate the clay in clean water. E.g. use 8oz (a full glass) of water to hydrate a couple of teaspoons of clay powder. Doing this is easiest in a blender. Wait about 2hrs before or after meals, medicine intake, supplements.... It won't be a problem. Get food grade bc ... And, there are doctors that have UA-cam channel that talk about this subject and use this product. Or let big pharma educate you, they won't have a conflict of interest on this subject, or anything... Right?
