I hate to say it, but I think Ernie is "erroring" himself back to Buffalo for a stint, with Will Robertson coming up. Will is mashing in AAA, and could slide into LF for the Varsho to centre for KK rest days, moving Davis back to the infield where he is more comfortable/effective.

(maybe once Kirk gets more than one #%$@ day off this month, his noodle arms will refresh and he'll start connecting again.

It's quite amusing how you bash Heyman for stating that Ohtani's decision to choose the Dodgers over the Jays is good for the game, and then go on about how Americans know so little about Canada. You guys just put your finger on the exact reason why Heyman is correct. Americans don't want to see Canadian teams win championships in "American" sports. If the Dodgers go to the WS this year the TV ratings are going through the roof. Especially if they go up against the Yankees or the Red Sox. No one is going to tune in to watch a Jays vs Brewers WS. Every fan base in the nation is going to tune in to watch their team face the Dodgers this year and root against the hated juggernaut team that is the LA Dodgers. THAT is good for ratings and in turn good for baseball. The collapse of RSNs around the league points to the fact that baseball has had problems and the #1 way to fix that is to increase viewership. Manfred took a big step towards that with the new rule changes and I'm sure he is ecstatic that there is a new villain in the league for fan bases to be passionate (either for or against) about. No one would have considered the Jays or Canada for that matter an evil empire. I think you guys are just salty (understadably) that Ohtani chose the Dodgers.

In defence of Springer & RISP I’d rather the singles & some movement on the bases than have him stretching for power & failing particularly since we all know it’s a perennial problem for this team.
