ANACS Coin Grading Submission Unboxing First Time!! Nice Barber Quarters And More
Yeah!! 👍
beautiful coin
@@Thomas-lc3lm oh yeah!
For sale? Price?
The plan is to send it to PCGS and then decide if I want to sell it
@@aloropeza8748 I’m guessing it’ll come back 66 because of the eye appeal
Beautiful toners!!!
@@CharlesRomero-l2t absolutely! Another video like this but way better is coming…. Soon as PCGS grades my coins 😡
Maybe the grader was late for golf, and blew off your last 5 or 6 coins!
@@CharlesRomero-l2t what do you mean?
wow. great coin.
It’s my favorite
Did the 67+ cent come from drew at AC
@@EricBynog-zd4rd yes
@@upnorthcoins yea funny part is I am collecting buffalo nickels with plus grades and cac sticker if possible the funny part I find in this is how cac at first said we don’t agree with + grade but later once CACG starts grading coins suddenly they are cool with + grades cac has played the game see the + coins are the ones they were putting stickers on but now that CACG is slabbing coins the sticker is not needed see so they can use + grade
@ interesting
@ that’s a bit confusing but I do like the + and * grades for sure
Good video lots of fun. There’s a lot of people who have tattoos on their face just like that bust dollar
@@andrewnelson-wy7pl maybe the person who drew that did
Some really nice coins.
@@rogerjohnson8707 I appreciate it Roger. Thanks for watching
Surprised pcgs didn’t cross over the 42-D😮
@@jewnersey7413 I am a bit surprised. Maybe it’s the spot on the reverse. I shouldn’t have sent that one.
Some really nice coins there.
@@RLC-t1x thank you I appreciate it, more videos pretty soon
It's refreshing to see one of these PCGS results videos where the submitter knows what they're doing instead of crying over not getting a straight grade on a coin polished with sandpaper. Great coins!
Haha yeah I’ve learned a lot, I appreciate it! Keep an eye out for more in a couple months!
nice graded!
@@TheSilverHoarder thank you! Appreciate you watching
very nice, you've got a great eye
@@shoeless1137 I appreciate it. Thanks for watching
Don’t let toning taking too much credit on coin’s grade. toning sometimes hurts the grade.
@@ACE_. thank you, didn’t know that
I wonder since micro o was cracked out did PCGS miss the rim fill I would look at it and check I bet they did and if so make them buy it back
@@EricBynog-zd4rd I’m not an expert on grading nor rim filing. I can’t tell if it has been from the TrueView, some imperfections but I’m seeing that on my other TrueViewed coins too… I bet ngc would have straight graded too
The 80 cc is not because of the grade it was because of the PL they don’t think it’s proof like I don’t think it is either close but I think the color does not help the PL
@@EricBynog-zd4rd thank you, it was probably the reverse only being semi-PL. I have since sold this coin. Thanks for watching
Beautiful coins

1916 d Mercury dime has a rotated die also that is super awesome
@@coloradocoinhunter6475 I didn’t notice that until I owned it for a long time. Don’t have it anymore but that coin was sweet. One of the nicest fair 2s out there

I would complain to PCGS about that scratch.
I will if it happens again. I was able to get rid of most of it with PlastX, that stuff works pretty well.
Very nice grades 🎉🎉
Overall a success🪙🙌

🌍Great video! Good luck! +23😉👍
@@Shuiskycoins appreciate it
You have a good eye. A great look to that 1899 v nickel. Great example of a coin that is probably half the price of a 65 but better eye appeal than most certified gems between strike & luster.
Thank you I appreciate it. I believe you, v nickels seems to be your category, best looking nickel in my opinion
Sorry for shaky camera movement and moving coins too fast, I’ll work on that
Did pretty good on that sub 🎉
@@Numizzmaticaddict thank you, 3/8 isn’t bad. I just uploaded the next cac results video
Nice Morgan 😊
How on earth did the PCGS-graded AU-58 1905-O Barber Dime with very little luster warrant such a grade ? Personally I wouldn’t have sent any of these coins to CAC for a sticker except for the lovely 1892 NGC-graded MS-66 proof-like Columbian Half-Dollar.
@@rogerkinard7446 the toning was so deep on the 1905-o. The Colombian half didn’t sticker. 4 out of 12 did
I’ll make a video on the results soon
Also, I've seen AG3s with CAC stickers with less detail and eye appeal than ours.
@@swilliams937 yeah I sold this one last month
I don’t think I’ll ever find a nicer fair2
I have 16-D in Fair 2 with the exact same degree of die rotation on the reverse. A sister coin, I suppose.
@@swilliams937 cool!
Good luck 👍😊🤞💯😁😄
@@johnnyb3126 🤞
Very nice coins. I’m a very conservative guesser with CAC since they can be so tough on type coins, so I’d guess no CAC on the second barber quarter and the two barber halves. The first two look a bit bright, and as you note the circam may be considered too dark for a 20th century coin by current Cac standards. But I love the look. I’m not sure if the Columbian is PL enough but it sure is a spectacular coin! The 81-S looks like a slam dunk for a green bean. Tough to get gold beans on that date since they already come so nice.
@@Walkerazul thanks for your input I always love to hear from others. I’m hoping for 6/12 but expecting 4 honestly. I think I’ll find out pretty soon, it’s been a few weeks now
And i love the 1903-O dark barber half so much. I paid a huge premium honestly but it’s what I like, no regrets
@@upnorthcoinsat the end of the day CAC is really just one guys subjective opinion. Collect what you like, bean or no bean!
@@Walkerazul true, the markets the market. Collecting is an art
Very nice

Nice coins! Love pre 33!
3 out of 8 isn't terrible. I just went 1 for 4 on my first sticker submission. You should get some PlastX for those holders. Polish those scratches right out.
Thanks, I did get PlastX, it works well. I guess being able to see the coin better can’t hurt your chances lol
Nice coins, and much better results than my first sub. It’s possible they thought the 1912-D nickel was cleaned and retoned. They don’t seem to like that kind of color on XF nickels, I’ve observed. I think you’re right about an old cleaning on the 16-D, and the circ Morgan looks like it may have been cleaned too. In those grades Cac likes coin that have a “dusty” grey look, anything that looks a bit glossy or shiny is unlikely to pass IME. Not sure what they didn’t like about the barber but you might be right about them wanting a bit more flash for a 66. The S mint Morgan could’ve failed for eye appeal or perhaps environmental damage.
Thanks for your thoughts and for watching😀
I think some folks are missing the point here. The CAC sticker is a second opinion on the grade represented on the holder. CAC is verifying the grade given, or not. They look at the grade only, not how beautiful or ugly the coin is, not at all. If they award your coin with a Gold sticker, you just hit a mini jackpot. The CAC Gold sticker says that the coin was undergraded by at least 1 grade point, fyi.
A B C coins they sticker A and B coins for the grade, a coin could still be a C, passing for the grade but not nice enough for a sticker
Nice.
I thought the 1912-D nickel would have surely gotten CAC. And the 1894 should definitely have gotten it. Oh, well. Live and learn. Thanks for posting this video. Very helpful! Cheers!
Glad I could help, there will be more
The fact that Barber dime didnt sticker makes me afraid to send anything to CAC
It’s such a high grade with gorgeous color but there’s something that looks like a scratch on the neck, maybe it’s toning, I agree with you if that wasn’t the issue I’m not sure what they didn’t like
Why does everyone think their coins are better than the grade reflects? Anyone have one that believes strongly that their coins is a lower grade? Ever crack it out to get the real 'lower' grade? Humanity is an evil life.
Yes, a draped bust dollar graded xf in an old ANACS that’s probably VF. You’re right, collection bias is real
I have a VG10 Walker in an NGC holder that I know is truly VG8.
Beautiful coins 🤩 Your MS66 Morgans are stunning! San Francisco early years are some of the most gorgeous Morgans in the series, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, great eye candy.
I’m highly considering this for my 2020 V75 silver Eagle PR70 and my gold Mercury dime SP70 just to see what CAC thinks, they’re both graded by PCGS
Sorry, but that would be a no go. The absolute newest coin that they will sticker is a 1964 MS Quarter. However they do recognize newer 1C Double Dies; 1955, 1969-S, 1970-S, 1971-S, 1972, 1983, 1984 and 1995. In other words, they like the old stuff.
@@rc9660 so CAC wouldn’t even grade anything new?
@@michaelangelobergeron5980 Yes they will "grade" anything new or old. Since PCGS has already graded you coins there's no point in CAC doing so. We're talking about "Stickering" right now. CAC stickering is an approval of the grade stated on the slab. If the numerical grade is accurate but on the lower end of the grade = no sticker.
You've got some really nice coins. The 82 S Morgan had lovely toning. I wasn't at all surprised that your 16 D didn't sticker, as I thought it looked very much a 2 instead of an AG 3. I thought the Barber should have got a green bean.
