I had somone install my Kenwood in my 90 sierra and when I put the key in the the truck I turn it on a bit I saw the stereo turned on and when I crank the truck it turned off the truck didn’t start so I jump the truck with my battery pack and the kenwood still hasn’t turned on? By anychance do you know what’s wrong?
First thing I’d do is re check wireing along with the fuse on the back of the stereo, that kenwood that was in this vid always had issues never Bluetooth connected and randomly shut off I’ve had much better luck with the 50 dollar ones at Autozone
Hey when you bought the stereo did the wiring harness come with it?
I’m having a hard time finding wiring diagrams for my 82. The green and red wire that come out of the front of the left side of the motor. Where do they go? I have no spark
I looked up a few diagrams but none had a green wire, what I always did was just start from the beginning and followed the wires as I went i labeled each wire and in what part of the circuit they related too then tested each component if I still had the 3 wheeler I’d go look for ya but unfortunately I sold it
Buffalo Corp has the sportsman generator line. Some of the best customer service ive seen. Their troobleshooting department is supper helpful.
😂 you talk so fast bro couldbarely understandya good shit tho 🔥
Update?
So i did everything that was said in the video unfortunately mine wont turn on idk reply with some tips 😅
Like the style of music. RHEC
Was the generator worth it?
So far so good it’s been used a few times and started regularly and served us well so far I’d definitely buy another
Hey got a question. When installing the radio, did you have a long black(ground I'm guessing) wire that was separate from the rest? A friend said I had to screw it into the back of my new radio but I never had to do that before In an install. So was wondering if u had the same wire. Thanks in advance.
I don’t think I did I think all the wires I used were in the original harness I just got a adapter for it
Don't listen to the hate, you did pretty good man
Could you link to the next video?
The next video on?
@@mintymotors You said you were posting the rest of this install in a 2nd part 2 video...........
Ah I’m gonna say I forgot to do that I had some 6x9s for it that I put in for a bit but they turned out to not work for some reason or another so I gave up and ran the stock system up until now
Great video just picked 2 of these up no keys how did you wire that switch
This one had a lot of wireing issues so it was done way different then usual your best bet is to get a couple lawn mower ignitions or find the correct wireing so you don’t have to cut anything up
Dude, next time get someone else to hold the camera...... this video is just hard to watch...
Well if you don’t like it you can click away it really doesn’t bother me. Let’s see you try and film/ work one handed before you complain. Thanks
Just what I needed to know, thanks!
Biutiful bravo Like 👍👍👍
It's that time again. Storm season. I can't help to think there's still people out there that doesn't have a portable generator. Everything in a modern day home runs on electricity. And allmost everybody has a deep freezer and for sure A fridge. If they have a major power outage they'll loose all there food. I know some people say they can't afford one but they make cheaper ones and low wattage generators. And allmost all stores have lay a way. I don't get how they put trust in the grid and government to save there asses when the power goes out. And it will.
We got one just for the freezers because with half a beef and 2 hogs in there that’s 2k worth of meat and if that goes bad that doubles the price of the generator
@@mintymotors very wise to purchase one. I don't live on a farm but so live in the country. I been in 3 power outages The worst one lasted 7 days when Kentucky got hit by a major ice storm. You just never know. And thanks for responding. Just subscribed
We had a decent wind storm last night and actually got the generator out just to run it because the power was only out for a few hours
@@mintymotors I was Hopeing mine would go out for a day or 2 LOL
Here is a reminder about generator safety: this is only a reminder for everyone’s safety. This is just to make sure you are aware of all the warnings. Every year after hurricane and winter storms, there were reports on the news that many people have died each year when using generators due to carbon monoxide poisoning and electrocution during a power outage. There were reports about deaths when using generators when the power was out. There is something very serious that everyone should always be aware of when using generators. Some people do run their generator indoors which is not safe and that increases the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning which can cause death of family and you. Some people run their generator in wet conditions which can electrocute them. Here’s an advice about generator safety: please remember that you should never run your generator indoors. Remember that carbon monoxide is an odorless and colorless gas that you cannot see or smell. Carbon monoxide is a silent killer. Keep that in mind. Make sure your generator is 15-20 feet away from your house and away from doors, windows, and vents. Having a carbon monoxide detector is very important against generator safety. Some people also allow children to go near the portable generator which could pose risks. We need to keep an eye on our children making sure that they are not near the portable generator so they won’t get electrocuted or burned by the generator which is dangerous. A locking enclosure also keeps kids safe. A generator shed might look like a tempting place to explore, or take cover during a game of hide-and-seek, but a generator is a dangerous piece of equipment that can cause injury. It says on the manual that we should also keep children away at all times from the portable generator to avoid injuries. Generators pose electrical risks. If you need to use your generator during wet weather, you need a generator tent to protect your generator from getting wet. Don’t let your generator get wet. Keep your generator dry and before using your generator, please make sure your hands and your generator is dry. Everything that is said on the generator’s operating manual should not be ignored. Never smoke cigarettes near the generator. Please keep flammable things away from the generator. Never overload your generator too. Your generator can catch fire. Never ever try to plug a generator cord into a wall outlet to avoid back feeding. Back feeding your generator is dangerous. Always turn on your generator first before plugging in appliances and shut off the appliances before turning your generator off. Use a heavy duty cord for your generator and the cord should not be worn out. All the instructions should be followed carefully. Never refuel your generator while it’s running. It can cause fire if fuel spills while your generator is hot. You should turn off your generator and let it cool off before refueling it. Having a fire extinguisher next to the generator is also important. This is only a reminder for everyone’s safety of using generators. Make sure your generator is properly grounded. ua-cam.com/video/I1jT3ANENvI/v-deo.html and here is a video more about keeping others safe when using generators. Hope this helps. Thank you. Remember not to put your children at risk too.
Good stuff man, "cold snack" had me laughing, I'm gonna use that now, but I'll give you your credit and share the vids, keep it up!
Bud I stole that from vice grip garage but thanks for watching
I watch vice grip too, love that guy. I haven't heard him say that yet, but it was funny. I'm working on a KLT 250 right now so this video popped up in my search.
There good old machines I sold mine tho
I have one coming in the mail because of the snow storm in Texas this past weekend. I paid $299 for duel propane/gas version. Great video. Thank you.
Yea they seem to be good so far we got the single fuel just too keep it a step less for my grandparents
I’m going to do this to mine but color match 👍🏼
That’s what I want to do but maybe if the truck gets repainted and a different grill

Should do a cold start on my Scottsdale

@@mintymotors I will soon
Lol I just bought this exact 3 wheeler. Exact same ignition switch, same rack, same mysterious ground cable, same rip in the front fender sticker, same everything 😂
I sold it and saw it forsale again where are u located
@@mintymotors I'm in Spokane valley Washington. All the wiring was screwed up (fixed) but it doesn't have spark now. In the process of wiring the start button back to the handlebars and making the killswitch work up there. I think it needs a new cdi box
It's the same one I'm outa newport I sold it not running with a bad tire and the guy put a battery and a tube in it and had it forsale if you jiggle the wireing at the front it will get spark back
It needed at ton of work but was always relatively reliable I rode it for a year and then sold it the wireing had been trash when I got it I just kept band aiding it and how much did you pay I'd you dont mind me asking
@@mintymotors probably overpaid for it tbh. $300 non running. I'll get it going eventually. I found a wiring diagram and finally got everything put back together. I was gonna order a cdi box for it

What do you want for that chainsaw?
what church song is that

That’s not a 85 it’s a 87 if it actually had a 6.9 in it, they only made the brick nose trucks with a 6.9 in it for one year, then in 88 they switched to the 7.3
Whether on not the front clips a 87 I dont know but it is a 7.3 as well as the other one because both truck have been swaped a couple of times
Also the cab is a 85 and its registered as a 85
Minty Motors then it probably got clipped or something and that’s what they put on it
That' trucks had a hard life
Minty Motors I can tell
Looks like you broke on gray road
No shit kyler i told you that
Better to be blown by twins lmao that made my whole day lol

Can you help me get mine started. What color does the cdi wires go to. Has a plug with green and red. But don’t know where other wires go
Hey man I'll get back to you later today when I get home
Minty Motors Okay thanks i appreciate it, either my handlebar switch is busted or my cdi connections are messed up. I’ll wire in a demo switch in the meantime
Dirty garage email me at carsandkartstv@gmail.com I'll send you some pics
