Why is general anaesthesia used in COPD patients at the cath lab - what is it about their condition that doesn't allow them to remain immobile during the procedure? Thank you

I absolutely love these lectures. This nurse lecturer is incredible. I’d just like to add one thing - an extra ‘A’ on the end of ‘MONA-A’ and the extra A is for antiarhythmic such as Metoprolol IV bolus during acute phase MI. M-morphine O-oxygen N-Nitroglycerin A-Asprin A-antiarytmics (metoprolol) 🙌🙌🙌
