Good review, but there is no such thing as a made in the USA vortex or Leupold binocular. Or any brand. Maven B series is assembled in the USA from Japanese components, but that’s as close as you get.
nice review hope to pick one up this weekend
I recently had a Gas string put on my bow. The old string they took off has been on the bow for 5 years. When I shot my bow with the new Gas string I an now shooting 6 inches low at 20 yards. Not sure if it’s the new Gas string or if the limbs on my bow have weakened over time. I checked my poundage on my bow and it’s at 62 pounds when it should be 70. Ive talked to several people and they all say the limbs will not weaken over time. So now I am second guessing putting the Gas string on, maybe I should have went back with a Hoyt string.
I would take the bow to a dealer they can double check everything it could be many different things including just adding twisted to the string
The set isn't to spec, the cables need twisted up a lot to get back to spec for your 70lbs.
Appreciate the reply guys. I took it back to the shop that put the string on. Apparently my poundage tester is out of spec and that is possible because it’s an older one. I checked the poundage at the shop with their tester and it came in at a little over 68 pounds. I was shooting low because my peep sight was to low on the string. Alls good now and nothing wrong with the Gas string.
Lefty RX8 Ultra on order! Great specs. w/numbers I can live with. 7” brace height and nearly 35”. Cam is so smooth and dead in hand bare bow! Nice review!
I agree with your hypothesis about experimenting with different arrow brands ,shafts ,insert,/ outsert weights along with different nocks and fletchings . I have multiple bows and each one I have is shooting a different arrow. Like what you had said about trying different ammo until you find the one that your rifle shoots the smoothest and most accurate it's the same process with your bow . Unfortunately in today's market this can be extremely expensive but in the end you'll be confident in your choice of projectile.
A better choice for hot melt is the Bohning blue low heat melt. You can spin or remove the insert with hot water. Less chance of damaging the shaft with fire.
Thank you I’ll look into that
great video thanks so cool 🤠👍
Thanks a lot. I learned stuff.
This thing looks KILLER.. Camo choice with strings on point ! What is your draw length ?
My draw length is 30 in and thank you I love this bow
I’m running a new-to-me rx7 this year too, and loving it so far. I think a huge benefit to the carbon riser isn’t so much an overall light weight package, but being able to take that weight out of the riser and putting it where you want it, in the form of stabilizers etc
Nice review and thank you for sharing your thoughts on this bow, Sweet setup. I wasn't real happy with the speeds at 27.5 draw length . So I bought the Z 1 S from Hoyt, with my draw length and 442 grain arrows, I'm getting 277 f.p.s.
That’s a good speed for any big game!!!
Great review! Thanks for sharing this
I've been cursing my current spottings vote for the last 3 years during mule deer hunting. Every year I promise myself I will buy a new spotting scope. The sx4 has been on my list like your non-bias review
Thank you, great spotter and not a bad price!
uv button is a real good quality release im currently using it
You had option of Meopta Meostar S2 82 spotting scope which has better glass than this one and it has 20-70 magnification
Which one is better Leupold BX-2 Alpine HD 10x52 mm (181178) or Vortex Diamondback HD 10x50? Today both price are same
Please improve on your audio, my speakers are at max and still cannot hear you well
Great review! This was super helpful
Vortex Viper HD good deal when they go in sale again for $299 at Cabela's and Bass Pro. The Vortex Razor HDs were on sale for $500-$600 recently also at Cabela's and Bass Pro. Vortex aren't worth paying regular prices for IMHO.
7mm?
300 win mag
Nice shotty
Great review man!
Thank you for the review.
Fantastic review! Very helpful, thank you for being thorough in your comparison. Both are very solid binos, nothing beats a hands-on test at a Cabela's/Bass Pro Shop/etc. I went with the Leupold BX-4 10x42 and love them.
The 31 is the better option. The 34 is barely just okay compared
That looks like something straight out of hunter call the wild
You hear about vortex's warranty so often because everyone has to use it! I have 3 scopes, an old range finder, and a bino, and 2 of the scopes should be sent back for factory defects
Pacaging cost half the thing
Literacy is not your strong suit, huh?
Ibo is at 30 inch draw at 70#. Not 29 inch draw. I wish i am a 29 inch draw.
hey no hate but next vid could you drop links to these, thank you!

I used to buy Leupold everything, binos, scopes, and range finders. Last year my Leupold range finder stopped working and I called Leupold to see if this was covered under their warranty. Unfortunately they said they do not cover electronics under the warranty. Cool no big deal. I was now in the market for a new range finder now so I decided to call Vortex and see if their warranty covers “electronics” not just the optic. I was informed by multiple Vortex representatives that they will warranty electronics by either replacing them or have to send the existing product in for repair, no questions asked. I called Leupold again and informed them that their competitor would warranty electronics and they don’t. I even went higher up on the ladder and even talked to a supervisor he informed me that they wouldn’t match Vortex warranty for the electrical failure. Ok cool, I was still being civil and politely asked for a discount on a new rangefinder instead of a replacement. They wouldn’t budge on that either, he continued to get more angry over the phone and started bashing Vortex directly. I told him that I would be selling all of my Leupold optics and switching them out with Vortex since they had a better warranty and you didn’t have to fight with them over it. I stated that he just lost a Leupold life long customer and I would be telling other people about the situation. His response was “go ahead and switch then.” This really bothered me that they were willing to let me walk without even offering me maybe 10-25% percent discount on a new range finder. I currently own all Vortex now and have never looked back. Their customer service is top notch and have never had a problem. If you are just entering the game now, I hope this helps you choose a side!
So, this doesn't sound right to me. If your Rangefinder is outside of the 2-Year Published Electronics Warranty; they will offer you a very significant discount on a replacement unit. Something smells fishy....
They were doing their jobs and not risking getting fired. It’s not their fault on company policy. It’s rude to threaten to leave and I know it’s frustrating as a customer, but at the same time got to put yourself in their shoes. They got to put food on the table at the end of the day and not risk their job. Vortex and Leupold are both awesome companies!
You literally answered every question I had about the differences between these two models. Great review!
Thank you!
How is the B3 exit hunter any body know?
Exactly they just boolin
Music doesn't fit whats going on 😂
Awesome video thanks man. Good information. I got the bx 5 love them then a cheap pair leupold for truck. Both have been great.
I shoot the True Fire Synapse and LOVE it, but I do wish it had a larger button like the UV, I actually altered mine to make a large button on it.
almost time
i thought i was gonna see an arrow fly down and tag this dude
Damn great shot!
Do you recommend bear spray?
I would carry bear spray if I was in Grizzly Bear country but here in Colorado, I think, carrying a handgun is more than enough for bear defense. I carry a S&W M&P 10mm
Congratulations you missed!
Taking my wife camping this week! Very insightful, thank you!
Nice shot dang your good 😮😊👍
What did you shoot?
Anyone can shoot a compound bow😂
All of my optics, be it scopes or binos, are luepold. Ive got nothing against vortex, but dang luepold makes a good product. Side note: dont waste money on bushnell when things like these exist
You have chosen wisely! Having hunted collected and reloaded for 60+ years and have found Leupold to be the best you can buy for the price you pay for scopes or bino’s period! After 60+ years using them compared to others is incredible! Every Vortex I ever had developed problems and not even through hard use!
Agreed! I have vortex products, but they're on my fun guns. I run leupold on my hunting and SHTF guns because I know they run well all the time
Same
Looks good
