What it's these film?

This song reminds me of Costa Rica. It was playing in a small airport there where it played over and over. I was insistent on figuring out the band/song name. I did. It ended up being rhe theme song for the whole vacation. Reading the wiki about the band helped me have comfort when cramped in the small plane back to San Jose.

Over several past lives you became a vampire drunkard stuck in the material plane whose momentum has slowed you to a dead stop. The truth is that only the gods get all the news. The rest are like lab mice in an experiment whose results are known only to them. Look out! They change the political proof in every couple of generations! It’s usually uniformed people who expect their arguments to be relevant. Then they wonder why they fail when they try to become writers.
