*Skylar's BIG Birthday At Skyzone!! [8 years] Review and Critique* Introduction/Exposition: I like how the video starts with a preview of everything that lies in the journey ahead. Like how it shows most of the people that are going to be in the video like, Skylar, Your Mom, Chaya and more. And it's also fire how you showed so many different locations in a short amount of time. Basically showing the audience the SCALE of the journey. At 0:10 I like how it cuts to black RIGHT before you dunked it (and missed -_-) I also like how it abruptly cuts to a RINGTONE SOUND EFFECT. It's like coming out of a dream and being woken up by a ringtone. In my opinion it would've been better to just jump cut to you in the bed instead of cutting it to black and FADING IT IN. But the way how you did it was perfectly fine, because when my alarm be popping off I still be having my closed and I slowly open them just like how you did in the intro. It's very genius to start the video at the start of your day. It shows progression. You'll see what I'm talking about later. It's also very RELATABLE to see you wake up with no energy at all in the bed just waking up. It's REAL and RAW😩It was good that you explained the GOAL of the video and you showed what time and day it was. I wish you did this throughout the whole video to see the progression of time but it's cool. You showed yourself getting ready to go and then it jump cuts to you in the car with your Mom driving. This intro was AMAZING in my opinion. The Preview, the idea of starting the video when you started your day, and the exposition of the GOAL. Overall 9/10 Intro. MEAT RIDING ON EXTREME!! Rising Action: Right off the bat this starts off good. In the intro you and the scene were stagnate, and not really moving at all. But then it cuts to you in the car MOVING to a DESTINATION. Excellent progression🔥 The first thing you said was, "Me and my mom are going to Target." Which introduces a new character and gives the audience the DESTINATION of where you're driving to. And I also like how you are wearing PINK and your Mom is wearing BLUE. It's a cool contrast of colors. I like how at 0:59 you tell your Mom your whole MOTIVATION of going and it's because you got a new haircut. It shows how EGOTISTICAL and PRIDEFUL you are. People like PRIDEFUL characters like, Walter White and Rick Sanchez. Right after that you said you didn't give Skylar a gift, which gives the JOURNEY a CONFLICT. It was also very funny how confident your Mom was that you couldn't download, "Animal Farm" (Animal Crossing) on Switch. Then it cuts to you typing, "Can you download animal crossing on switch." and it says you can download animal crossing on switch. Then she says, "This guy thinks he knows everything."💀 At 1:29 you said, "Well whatever I see there (Target) ima pick it out." I Lowkey wished it cut to 1:53 when you said, "I don't know what to get my sister." It's funny to me because it's contradicts what you JUST said. However I do like how you are explaining Skylar's Character and what she likes. And it's funny asf when you said, "My Sister isn't technically a girl." That sh!t had me weak.💀 The Music and the overall Editing for this part was decent. At 2:33 it was pretty funny how you compared that doll to Skylar💀 In my opinion you should've did a side by side. You finally find out what to get her and you get a Coffee and it cuts you in the car with the Coffee. That Target scene was ALRIGHT. It wasn't that entertaining but some parts were funny and the audience did learn a little bit about Skylar and you completed the task of getting Skylar a gift which was the CONFLICT in the first place. And I love how you were ordering your coffee and it cuts to black and cuts to you drinking said Coffee while you're back in the car. I really like that for some reason😩 After that It cutting to Skylar and "Gynaya?" was pretty abrupt. I don't think it's bad but in my opinion you should've showed when you got them. You said ya were rushing to Skyzone because ya were running late. I feel like you should've put some fast paced music there to make it more intense. After that you said you made it to Skyzone, and you introduced Chaya. It would've been dope if you showed the Skyzone logo when you said you made it. Like a zoom in shot of the Skyzone that ya are at. And to end this scene you end it with a typical hand on camera fade in to black fade in to the next scene. The Rising Action was GOOD. The transition to it was fire, you had a CONFLICT and you FIXED it, there were a lot of funny moments, and the audience learned some things about Skylar and you. Overall 7/10 Rising Action. AVERAGE MEAT RIDING🤷‍♂ Climax: The Climax is just a Montage of the Birthday Party and it's great in my opinion. The Music, Editing, Clips, and Shots were all GAS🔥 At 4:28 Chaya failing to that acrobatic thing or whatever was funny asf💀 And the fact that it happened twice had me dying💀 The Montage was very fun and Cinematic. Even though it was just a Montage, I felt like I was there and had the whole experience. The last scene with Skylar blowing out the candles was fire too. I like how the music ended when the candles were put out. This is my favorite part of the video to be honest bro. That was clean😩 Overall 10/10 Climax😩 MEAT RIDING ON MAX!!!!😩 Ending: Was just funny bloopers of Jayden being a garbage Cameraman and you being garbage at Basketball. And of course Chaya falling once again.💀 Overall 8/10 Video: This video felt like a journey. You waking up with the video, having a GOAL to ACCOMPLISH, having OBSTACLES in your way, OVERCOMING those OBSTACLES and getting to a SATISFYING ENDING was BRILLIANT. The PROGRESSION was amazing, The Editing was Great and there were plenty of Comedy in this. THIS IS A CERTIFIED IAHH CLASSIC😎
