@jhcashman i can, however, tell you that 2 heavy and one light works really well. Especially in early stages when dps is needed the most.

@2k_eV ha... ha... ha... the ship you have to destroy is a low-end titan class ship. The higher the level, the more developed it is. Its fleet consists of dreadnought and carriers. Also my cyan is extremely expensive and that's an understatement. So no, i won't be trying that solo or with a fleet in my cyan. However, if I had a donor ship and the owner doesn't mind losing it, I'd give it the ol' go.

@rabidspiders01 I described it wrong, my bad. The idea is to replace 1 dread with my cyan. It deals 35k dps, so should be good as soon as it's alive. So the cyan will be followed by 3 dreads.

@2k_eV If you have 3 dreads, I would stick to that. Just buff up your dreads. If you replaced or added anything added a fax, the lucent moon is currently the best fax in the game. Reason I'm saying this is because in dormant realms, the rats will attack your fighters. The dreads are more cost-effective. Also, most carriers are designed for fleet combat equivalent to splash damage. Dreads are more or less high dps single target ships.

Trust me it's better than listening to the redneck from waterboy explain it.

@Zain_Passing_By that honestly couldn't have been said better. It's one thing when you speak things come out normal and the way it's meant to. Whole new ball of wax when nothing comes out right and it's a stutter. I can't even make it through a script. I mean, look at all my videos. Either they're all silent with dumb music or ai. There's a couple where I do speak, and those are forced. @jacojordaan5143 i pioneered that technique, no joke. I told a few friends, and I'm guessing they told a few people. The upgraded version is once a week we do a all day system wipe with a looter tailing us. We spam the locations in the corp chat. But honestly, we are making enough where we don't have to do that anymore. We typically reserve it for tritanium since it takes a lot of effort to move it. We also got jump freighters that can make the trip to jita in one jump.

@jacojordaan5143 Back in the early days of flying, i used the grappler. But it was using too much cap. My bounties were on 30m ish, so I swapped it out with the salvage to help compensate. Eventually moved to null, and defense became an issue until a guy suggested shield command. Well ratting scaled up from there and it basically became cheaper to just buy materials. Its like I said before we keep a open fleet for smaller players to tail us for bounties and loot. It's actually faster than mining it out and it gives them access to things they otherwise can't get solo.

@anthonywoodham4175 Man, there's so much more to it. I only use the 3 units unless I'm doing a frp or something at range. The rest of its defensive stuff. I can't stress enough how severe the penalties on them are, though.

@anthonywoodham4175 my advice is if you're run a cyan do not neglect those skills. There's about 7,500 dps in it.

@axelronco1642 they can be mixed. You can't mix a single tube like half and half. If you want to do 2 tubes of light fighters and 1 tube assault or any combo that's fine. The tubes itself can't be mixed.

This is true. But keep in mind everyone doesn't have access to either, and a well-defined fleet is better than nothing. It is theoretically possible to solo. I have done it...it's extremely difficult and dangerous and not recommended.

A lot of the issues is people don't quite understand their ships limitations.

I suppose that depends. The last time I used a battleship was dominx navy issue. It was made for taking out wasteseekers. I've heard rumors of 20k dps. But new battleships have came out since and I honestly haven't heard much beyond the annihilator.

In all honesty, there are 3 things you really have to consider. Survival, stopping power, and speed. But also versatility if you do other things other than rat I'd go with a drone boat. Mainly because of the nestor.

There's a general unit that allows it. But there's huge penalties on dps and ehp. You need the other general unit to add some off the dps back. But also upgrading the mothership command skills also helps offset the negative.

Also keep in mind both general units are extremely expensive.

@@Top-Players-gem i honestly have no idea. There's been a lot of mergers and new alliances made.

I was fully capable of soloing the entire rift. However, the only thing I was unable to maintain was the capacitor due to the rift penalties and the number of rats neutralizing said capacitor. 1:44 and at other times, I would jump the gate several times to recharge. I just cut out all the unnecessary jumping.

In my defense, audience retention averages a minute and 40 seconds. I'm probably going to cut back the time even further.
