    Great video just got the 2024 B2301 22hp diesel loader and 48inch bush hog .. 23k$ with my military discount and trade in .. put loader hooks on bucks and quick hitch

    Consider wheel spacers and loading the rear tires to combat any tippiness. I installed 2" spacers and with the extra 150# in each loaded tire, my B2601 feels rock solid.

    Get a bolt on wear edge/cutting edge for the bucket. Better to buy a new edge than a new bucket.

    To me, there's almost nothing to like about the Free tools. The serrated blade is pretty good, but the :"file" and the "ruler" are just bad jokes that aren't the least bit funny. One of my friends has a P4 and it seems more like a fidget toy than a real tool. It's also crazy expensive. The Multiforce is a better overall tool at about a quarter the price.

    Hey team. Love the 2601. I am 150 hours in and use this every weekend at our home. I also enjoy helping my neighbors with the odd post hole or grappler move. All around great investment. I do mow a hillside and work in hilly environments. Just be smart and follow the OEM guidance. These things will roll and there are many great videos out there on best practices.

    Great little tractor! I put 500 hard hours on mine before trading in for a bigger machine. Make sure to fully engage the locking diff, it can shear the teeth if it's not locked in. Check the loader bolts too, mine worked loose around 150 hours.

    I couldn't agree more. I love my 2601. Got it 5 years ago. Has about 550 hours on it right now. Bought it with: Backhoe/front loader/54" belly mower package. Since then........ Bought a 60" rotary brush cutter from J-Bar. A County Line 60" box blade. And a Titan 4" max capacity PTO wood Chipper. Best damn decisions I ever made.

    Actuallly; a smaller bx 2350 will suffice for small homestead owners. Absolute wonder of a machine, small, powerfull and reliable. Very, very well thought out design and toptier quality. Manufacterer is still in the game, parts are being made and there are a whole slew of different implements available. I'm a fan

  • @i.r.wayright1457

    i agree. I bought a new one with loader and backhoe for around $27K. I added a thumb for the bucket so I can pick up logs or rocks and a set of forks for the front bucket. That has limited weight lifting ability but it is okay for my needs. I put some extra lights on it and had to replace the little dynamo with a 47 amp alternator.

  • @urmumisaho69

    Why are you yanks so against a 4 in 1 buckets ?. In Australia they’re standard and means you don’t need a grapple and bucket. My b2601 with a 4 in 1, 60” mid mount mower and backhoe literally is a be all to end all machine.

    • @seanwahl1000
      @seanwahl1000 2 роки тому

      They don't offer one in the US. The only ones available are either a 48", which is for the bx23s or a 60" that is 800 lbs.

    Just something I noticed from the vid, you’re not coming back to full draw when you shoot traditional. Maybe just using an atypical anchor point, but I also had similar issues when I switched over 10 years ago. For me, I guess part of me didn’t trust the bow. I really had to learn to pull it all the way back. The foundations are the same between compound and traditional, but the intricate things that go into traditional makes it feel like a whole different beast… and for how I shoot, it is a different beast

    Would you buy that mid mount mower again over a cheaper generic 3 point finish mower? I have the same size Kioti machine (CX2510) and just cannot justify the cost of the mid mower!

    • @blakeechols3829
      @blakeechols3829 2 роки тому

      I would go with what works with your budget first! If I used the mid mount all the time I would like it but if it was just occasional use I would go with the 3 point mower for cost and because it would be easier to take on and off.

    • @cosamuel7182
      @cosamuel7182 2 роки тому

      By my read the biggest benefit of the mid-mount is maneuverability. But my machine doesn't feel that maneuverable-nothing like a zero turn or even a cheap rider. That just leaves cut width and you can get that width for less with a 3-point. In the end I've about decided that I will probably never mow with my machine and am (back) in the market for a good fast mower, either a zero turn or a stand-on.

    • @blakeechols3829
      @blakeechols3829 2 роки тому

      I agree. I think the biggest benefit to a mid mount is maneuverability. but a dedicated mower is going to be way easier for mowing.
