Backordered fence-on to plan B! Vlog 5
Great video just got the 2024 B2301 22hp diesel loader and 48inch bush hog .. 23k$ with my military discount and trade in .. put loader hooks on bucks and quick hitch
Wait what 23k?!!! I just priced one out with a scraper, mower and bucket. 28k
Consider wheel spacers and loading the rear tires to combat any tippiness. I installed 2" spacers and with the extra 150# in each loaded tire, my B2601 feels rock solid.
Get a bolt on wear edge/cutting edge for the bucket. Better to buy a new edge than a new bucket.
To me, there's almost nothing to like about the Free tools. The serrated blade is pretty good, but the :"file" and the "ruler" are just bad jokes that aren't the least bit funny. One of my friends has a P4 and it seems more like a fidget toy than a real tool. It's also crazy expensive. The Multiforce is a better overall tool at about a quarter the price.
Such a great family trip Wishing you all many more fun trips together.
Hey team. Love the 2601. I am 150 hours in and use this every weekend at our home. I also enjoy helping my neighbors with the odd post hole or grappler move. All around great investment. I do mow a hillside and work in hilly environments. Just be smart and follow the OEM guidance. These things will roll and there are many great videos out there on best practices.
Pallet forks are a game changer with the B2601 - Mine stay on my tractor!
I used a half ton truck to pull my 3301..
Return of the king!!
THE PIGS
They’ve gotten big, you would love them!
He’s back!!
thanks for making this video short and for the close ups and what to use things for. great video!
Great little tractor! I put 500 hard hours on mine before trading in for a bigger machine. Make sure to fully engage the locking diff, it can shear the teeth if it's not locked in. Check the loader bolts too, mine worked loose around 150 hours.
I couldn't agree more. I love my 2601. Got it 5 years ago. Has about 550 hours on it right now. Bought it with: Backhoe/front loader/54" belly mower package. Since then........ Bought a 60" rotary brush cutter from J-Bar. A County Line 60" box blade. And a Titan 4" max capacity PTO wood Chipper. Best damn decisions I ever made.
Good over view my friend!
Actuallly; a smaller bx 2350 will suffice for small homestead owners. Absolute wonder of a machine, small, powerfull and reliable. Very, very well thought out design and toptier quality. Manufacterer is still in the game, parts are being made and there are a whole slew of different implements available. I'm a fan
i agree. I bought a new one with loader and backhoe for around $27K. I added a thumb for the bucket so I can pick up logs or rocks and a set of forks for the front bucket. That has limited weight lifting ability but it is okay for my needs. I put some extra lights on it and had to replace the little dynamo with a 47 amp alternator.
Why are you yanks so against a 4 in 1 buckets ?. In Australia they’re standard and means you don’t need a grapple and bucket. My b2601 with a 4 in 1, 60” mid mount mower and backhoe literally is a be all to end all machine.
They don't offer one in the US. The only ones available are either a 48", which is for the bx23s or a 60" that is 800 lbs.
I’m doing the exact same thing brother I’ve been hunting my whole life I’ve got the skill as far as getting close and I do to want to kill one traditionally and possibly with a sphere. Only if I think I’m good enough with my weapon and right now I’m just beginning
That would be awesome, Good luck!
My p4 is great as a fidget toy wtf is leatherman doing on all thire multi tools what's with all the FLAT HEAD DRIVERS use my surge or super tool 300 way more than my squirt or p4 lol wait to you find out you can cut metal with the surge
Im going to have to try the surge and super tool out as well!
Bro that's crazy! Probably opossum skull fever if I had to guess
Awesome man! Me and the boys really enjoyed them!
Thanks a lot man, I appreciate it!
Just something I noticed from the vid, you’re not coming back to full draw when you shoot traditional. Maybe just using an atypical anchor point, but I also had similar issues when I switched over 10 years ago. For me, I guess part of me didn’t trust the bow. I really had to learn to pull it all the way back. The foundations are the same between compound and traditional, but the intricate things that go into traditional makes it feel like a whole different beast… and for how I shoot, it is a different beast
Thanks for the comment, I have a long way to go. Im currently just working on my anchor and getting my draw cycle down.
Great video man!
Thanks man!
This tool is the biggest fails of desighn. Only way this can at all be seen as usable to me is if you work and use it in a building made entirely of plastic. Purely garbage in my view.
Thanks for the comment! What tool would you recommend I try?
@@blakeechols3829 well what I carry is the Leatherman surge its what I always recommend. What it offers to me is the pinnacle of multi tools. Some people like the wave but I'm not one of them.
I work for the largest Truck Trailer and Bus repair company in Indianapolis and it is a great EDC tool. No plastic building geno
Awesome stuff man
Those looked like xtratuf's.
Yea man I love xtra tuffs
Dropping some wisdom at the 3:20 mark!
This was awesome bro!
Thanks buddy!
Dude, we loved it!
Thanks so much Emily!
Mouth-watering!
Then you should try a Charge plus or a Wave plus next...
Loved the dope portable pour over set up you got! Great ending as well!
Thanks man! ive been using that system for almost 10 years now, I love it!
Life is about struggle, it's part of this existence.
Nice creek 😁 Rocky is a cutie. And baby is beautiful 💜 ya'll have a lovely family. Nope to the pine straw
Thanks so much Julie!
That pine straw SUCKS
I couldn’t describe it better myself haha!
Good stuff bro. Love you and the fam! When you preaching at the Hartselle campus with me??
Let me know man, I’d love to put something together with you!
Loved this ❤️
Bro I seriously almost cried hearing his little voice at the beginning!
I love listening to it making these videos!
Those tools look too familiar!
haha! you know them well!
Star Wars joke 👌🏼
Making it happen. 👍
Chickens are a gateway drug for homesteading!
No doubt. After chickens it makes it easier to add more!
Does your dog guard livestock or do you depend on fencing only to keep critters out?
Our dog definitely keeps certain predators away, but he’s also inside part of the time so we rely on the fencing. So far it’s been great
This was such a well-shot and edited video! Loved it! The use of b-roll was superb! Seriously man, you're going places with this channel. Mark my words. I'm not a hunter and I watched all the way cause your use of cuts and b-roll was excellent.
Thanks so much Randy I really appreciate it!
Did you compare it to the Yanmar SA424? It can lift more.
I did I really liked the yanmar but I ultimately went with the Kubota because I have a great dealer close to home
@@blakeechols3829 And the resale value is higher with a Kubota.
Would you buy that mid mount mower again over a cheaper generic 3 point finish mower? I have the same size Kioti machine (CX2510) and just cannot justify the cost of the mid mower!
I would go with what works with your budget first! If I used the mid mount all the time I would like it but if it was just occasional use I would go with the 3 point mower for cost and because it would be easier to take on and off.
By my read the biggest benefit of the mid-mount is maneuverability. But my machine doesn't feel that maneuverable-nothing like a zero turn or even a cheap rider. That just leaves cut width and you can get that width for less with a 3-point. In the end I've about decided that I will probably never mow with my machine and am (back) in the market for a good fast mower, either a zero turn or a stand-on.
I agree. I think the biggest benefit to a mid mount is maneuverability. but a dedicated mower is going to be way easier for mowing.
Watching these have made me more productive, doing something everyday to move forward on your goals is exactly what I have been doing since I started watching these. Makes it much easier to stay focused when I narrow it down to what can I do today to get one step closer.
Awesome man! This made my day, keep it up man!
Same here man, really going to work on getting a turkey this year!
Awesome man! I’m going to give it my best shot!
