Amazing. Voice is very fresh. He sang Tristan over 150 times. The the singer with next most performances had 50. Lots of hard miles on that voice, but very little wear.

Guys did you notice the timpani at the beginning before Zen plays? 😂 They are a little flat, like D natural instrad of Eb

I heard him in Montreal in Aug 23 and he is getting closer to the top, and he has just been signed to co principal horn of the Berlin Philharmonic‼️

Interesting interpretation!

I saw him play the Schumann Koncertstuck last summer, 6 years after this performance. Played the second horn part perfectly to my ears, and with aplomb! Stefan Dohr was first. Unforgettable!

He is a superstar. The next generation of horn leadership. He’s only about 17 years old here. Amazing.

Very nice. He played it with a more powerful style than most others which was interesting. I heard at least a few chipped notes in the last movement. Might have been tiring a bit by then. And, of course, the horn is really, really difficult like that compared to other brass instruments.

Bravo! This is excellent. And many compliments to the wonderful pianist.
