I studied in Alazhar and syria and Lebanon and I’ll be the first to say Arabic is Arabic and English is English and when translating From Arabic to English or English to Arabic one needs to take his time and in many situations when translating from Arabic to English one has to translate the meaning of the speech and not try to translate word for word because the true meaning of the words or speech or book will not be translated if one tries to translate word for word but if the meaning are conveyed people will benefit tremendously

As-salam alaikum brother Jazakallahu khayran for all these uploads. Honestly. It's so wonderful to get the chance to benefit from such a great Sheikh (scholar?) Hafidhahullahu ta ala. Im 26 years old, living in germany and really want to study the religion. But I dont have any clue where to do it. Of course, through the internet everyone can study from the comfort of the own home. But I want - with the permission of Allah subhanahu wa ta ala - to leave my comfort zone and give it more of myself than just sitting infront of the monitor. I just started to focus on memorizing the Quran and learning arabic, may Allah keep our intentions clean. I looked up for Madina University but it might be a bit hard, because they officially dont accept students over the age of 25. So I ask myself: Where can I go? Where can I seek knowledge? There will be for sure a lot of places, but as someone who is new in this space of Seeking knowledge, Shuyuukh, Scholars, Islamic Universities etc. its a little bit too much for me to overview and make a decision where to finally go. Maybe you can recommend me something based on your experiences or gained knowledge - and may Allah increase you, me and everyone who wants it in knowledge. I really look forward hearing from you. A good translation Mashallah, I’m Mauritanian and a fluent Arabic speaker, I don’t know how he managed to understand and convey the meaning. It is so profound and the Shaykh speaks really quickly and is obviously moved . May Allah increase us all in beneficial knowledge.

Selam brother Yusuf. Do you mind elaborating on the athari creed that the shayke mentioned. That it isn't authentic, I've read some books by imam abdul qadir jilani and imam al maqdasi. They do mention the creed there So is the shayke saying there isn't a chain back to them anymore or what is he saying exactly

When will the respected Shayke continue the lectures?

Can you kindly ask shayke Salek if the waterproof socks are okay to use. I have read a few things on them and they are okay for the Shafi and hanafi school but what's the verdict for the maliki? Thank you.

May Allah reward the translatior for his humble efforts. Can you ask him if he can do a short video of how to make the imamah in the maliki style. I'd like to see how :)

May Allah preserve the sheikh ..as a woman I benefitted a lot from these sessions on daily life of sallahu alayhisallam...he gave a ver different view point and an eye-opener for most woman...my Allah reward you all with khayr

But many scholars too cite them too,..may Allah preserve sheik , translating imaan for this wonderful translation for ppl like me to understand and those in tec for uploading...may Allah have mercy on all and bring khayr through them

Assalamu Alaikum, firstly I would like to say I have immense respect for Shaykh Salek and have been listening to many of his series for a long time. He has immense knowledge and always speaks the truth. However, I would like to clarify the Shaykh’s view on the Earth’s shape. From what I’ve understood from this series he holds the opinion that the Earth is flat? Please clarify.
