Incredibly Simple and Easy Raised Garden Beds
In this video, we're showing you how we made very affordable and simple raised garden beds for our vegetable garden.
We made our raised garden beds out of Douglas Fir, which should last around 10 years.
They were 8 feet by 3 feet and 24 inches high. The total cost was about $40-50 for the structure. Depending on which type of soil you fill it with, the cost of finishing it will vary, but it is an easy and surefire way to turn an otherwise unworkable bit of your yard into something beautiful and productive.
We were inspired by the raised bed plans found in The Vegetable Gardener's Bible.
