@amorebettersn yeah, there's a non-zero chance that I'm going to be spending a bit too much money on an "Illuna" Mutate deck for EDH just so I can play Ghidorah in the command zone where he belongs. Especially since I'm already planning to do the same thing for my Nic Fit deck to play -Luminous Broodmoth- Mothra.

These deck techs are meant to be a guide to make the deck your own. You can make your own sideboard to counter decks you regularly encounter! I’m always open to suggestions, what changes would you make?

I had a splash of black in the deck originally but didn’t seem worth getting mana screwed for. Also I would need to use more tap lands which made the deck grind to a halt. I run 61 in some decks when it’s necessary and I apologize that I misspoke about the mana. I meant to spend the mana before combat and then you’d have all that mana to use again in your second main phase. Have you tried this deck out?

@@amorebettersn I might build it with the splash of black. Being able to reanimate for "free" through Glacial Revelation seems strong. I did cut one Jorn for Legendary reasons

I did consider it, but with the amount of draw you’re almost guaranteed a land drop every turn, but if you want it Modern legal, take out Isu, the Abominable and throw 2 Boreal Druids in there! It’s a super fun deck!

Yes, I think you just need to take out Isu since it’s a Jumpstart card and replace it with whatever you want!

Thanks for checking out the video! The only change you'd really have to make to make this deck Modern legal is to take out the 0 cost Rograkh, son of Rohgahh. I put that in a good base to build off of but you can def take him out and it would be just as effective of a deck! Also why I made it 65 cards! Yeah I played around with that but didn’t want to get absolutely mana screwed. I’ve played this version on arena and it works well, but it’s on the way in paper so I gotta wait for my mail to try it out in the wild! Good question. A lot of decks are reliant on the Djinn, so we will have to hope that something comparable comes out in the next couple sets!

Enigma Drake could be an option from Foundations, but then you’d need to splash in some red.

@ no worries! Your speakers may be summed to mono and that’s why it would sound fine on your end. That means you’re playing both the left and the right channels out of the same speaker. Or speakers.
