Seen Dream Theater 4 times, all since 2017. First time James was decent playing half a setlist of Images and Words and then he was phenomenal in the distant memories (both shows in Glasgow). The Newcastle show for AVFTTOTW tour’s first run the audio sounded awful so I never really judged but my god he absolutely stunk in Glasgow this time round and it was quite a sad sight. I can’t tell if he had a cold or just been touring far too much for someone his age. There were songs where Petrucci’s backing vocals were noticeably stronger and they were singing the exact same thing.

Man I such a Huge James fan. This is rough to hear. Maybe no more awake or I&W songs. 😢
