Not for everyone and the game requires a bigger attention span than the average gamer, thankfully. But this is hands down on of my top favourite games I've ever played. Which is weird because visual novels are something I greatly dislike.

The games audio is louder than you, so I can't really hear you well. Also, this is normal. On higher difficulties, enemies have higher amounts of health and do a lot more damage. There are a few ways to get around both. There are a few ways to kill shields. One is to use a grenade launcher called the compact 40mm in the secondary special category. This can kill both groups and swat and shields easily. Another would be having the skill shock and awe aced. Useful if you prefer having 2 machine guns. You can also take the 5/7 pistol. This has armour piercing rounds so just aim at their head to kill them. You can also use the dragon breath rounds for shotguns. They are also amazing for setting all the swat you shoot ablaze, which both stuns and kills them. Assault rifles are nice however there are a lot of other weapons that can do better than the assault rifles. If you want a machine gun that is easy and efficient to use, its called an lmg. Want good damage? Use akimbo weapons. Sentries aren't really great, especially without skills. Doctor bags, first aid kits and ammo bags are more useful. Melee weapons shouldn't be relied upon. There are skills to buff the damage and they can be used as a last resort, but using it as if they are as effective to kill with as a gun isn't a great idea. You have jokers, great. Do a bit of damage to a swat then constantly scream at them until they surrender. Then convert them to fight for you. However, to make jokers one of the best skills in the game is the skill on top of it, Partners In Crime. Ace this skill and not only will your joker be capable of tanking more shots, but also increases your health by a ludicrous amount. This is amazing especially with health based perk decks like muscle. This paired with confident aced, which allows you to get a second joker. While it doesn't give you more health, it does act as another great distraction for you and your team, but also as a safety net for when your original joker dies. What can really push jokers to become even more useful is the skill at the very top Hostage Taker. Ace this and you regen a lot of health. This can basically eliminate your need for first aid kits and doctor bags as you can just heal of the damage taken to your health. Reload skills really aren't necessary with assault rifles as they still reload at a decent speed. However, aggressive reload, ammo efficiency and the other skills in sharpshooter only benefit single fire rifles and snipers. The gun you were using is automatic so it essentially does nothing for you. Also, Graze Aced makes sniper rifles one of the best weapons in the game because it can act as if getting a headshot creates an explosion near the person you got a headshot and and kills the people nearby. But again, this is for sniper rifles, not assault rifles and while as good as it sounds, you really have to be decent at aiming headshots to use it to its full potential. Also, when getting the highest tier weapons, acing the skills is better than trying to buy everything individually. You are also missing a few key skills. One is the skill bullseye. This is also one of the best skills in the game as it can essentially be used to prevent more damage. It gives you a little bit of armour when you get a headshot. This is very useful as despite how little armour you have, armour in this game can block any damage to your health. This is whats called armour gating and how it works is, even if it is only 5 damage or 99999999999999 damage, even just having 1 value of armour can block all of that. You won't go down as long as your health doesnt reach 0. The saw secondary is not a good secondary nor a good weapon to invest skills to. It only works on a few heists and unless you are trying to speed run a heist and don't mind not bringing in a useful secondary then you shouldn't bring a saw. In higher difficulties, enemies have more health there are a few things you can do. And these things are dependant in what perk deck and what weapons to use. You can try to have a low detection risk and use low blow aced, this can allow you to double your damage and pair this with headshots and they will most likely die. Though this works best with high fire rate weapons and high concealment weapons. You can also try berserker aced. This increases your damage the lower your health is. Pair this with ICTV armour and you can be a walking tank while doing a lot of damage, though it should only be used with Armour based perk decks. However, if you have an lmg, you won't really need yo use any of this. Armour is very useful, however there are a few main ways to use them as using other armours is quite unnecessary. If you want mobility and low blow, go with Light Weight Ballistic Vest. Pair this with Die Hard aced and while you seem more squishy, it still gives you enough armour to tank a few shots. If you want survival, go with ICTV by getting iron man aced. As get duck and cover and parkour as you will be heavily weighed down. But you can really tank a lot of shots. It is however very expensive to get. If you don't want low blow and you want to save points then just use the Heavy Weight Ballistic Vest as it can take a decent amount of shots as well. And honestly there is more I can talk about, but those are the ones I have noticed. Sorry for typing a lot.
