The Fish River Canyon is located in the south of Namibia, the largest canyon in Africa and the second most visited tourist attraction in Namibia. About 160 km long and up to 27 km wide, in some places 550 m deep The hike is approximately 90 km long. We had little water during our hike but we had an amazing experience. Be prepared for harsh elements; a good fitness level is needed and the best stars to sleep under. This is not an easy hike as it is very strenuous and prepare for very hot and very cold. A positive attitude, good hiking buddies and good shoes will carry you through this adventure.
