If America found itself in a similar situation as near end of the war Germany? How well would people in our prisons be eating? How good would their healthcare be? Is all of this something we should discuss, and learn from? Certainly. It must never be repeated. But can we have some more honesty concerning a topic of such a serious nature? My dear friend born 1930 in Dusseldorf.Was deported with her mother Celia and her little brother Hans Dieter October 1938,to Poland.A year later her mother could find her a place on a kindertransport that took her and many other children but not thier families to London by sea from Poland.There was no place for Hans Dieter who there for hD to stay behind with his mum and her relatives in Poland.The germans murdered all of them.This left Isabel after the war the only member of her family still alive.Isabel was eight when she sailed on that kindertransport to London,spoke and wrote no English then.But of course had to learn it quickly and did.She was made to forget her german language because we were in Britain naturally at war with nazi Germany.

We identified 1,023 incidents of anti-Asian racism, which included 679 incidents of anti-Asian harassment and vandalism and 344 incidents of stigmatizing and discriminatory statements, images, policies, and proposals." Of over 4,337 articles reviewed, less than a quarter (1,023) contained anti-asian racism. The articles which qualified as “incidents of anti-Asian harassment and vandalism” totaled 679. But how were those 679 events broken down? "Of the 679 incidents of anti-Asian harassment, 541 incidents (79.68%) involved verbal harassment." "Of the 679 anti-Asian harassment incidents reported in the news in 2020, 168 incidents (24.74%) involved avoidance and non-verbal harassment." We see that 80% of the incidents were merely verbal. While verbal slurs are rude and inconsiderate, name calling generally is not a crime. If it were we would have a prison filled with middle school students. Next, of the 4,337 news articles reviewed 112 claimed to involve physical harassment and violence. Of that, 38 involved spiting or coughing, while the remaining 74 (less than 2%) could constitute as a potential physical assault. Mr. Yang also claimed that the majority of hate incidents (not crimes) are committed by whites, but is that claim true? According to the report, "...information about the race and/or ethnicity of offenders in a total of 184 anti-Asian incidents: 57 incidents of anti-Asian harassment and 127 incidents of stigmatizing statements and actions by politicians." Around 4% (184) of the articles reviewed could verify the race of the "perpetrator"; of that 4%, 70% (127) were stigmatizing statements made mostly white politicians (121). Examples of stigmatizing statements included: references to Covid as the "Wuhan Virus'' (note: “Wuhan Virus” was originally coined by the Chinese media), proposed travel restrictions or financial reparations implemented on China, comments regarding wet markets, and any mention of the a lab leak theory as the origin for covid (now the consensus opinion). Among those who were physically harassed, race was identified by only 16 (0.4%) news articles. Among the 16, 12 were white, 3 black, and 2 latinx. The claim the majority of hate incidents are being perpetrated by caucasians is based inconclusive data and political banter. It would serve the report well to remove comments made by politicians which is now the consensus opinion. Instead of focusing on name calling in the U.S. this organization would be better served focusing on actual genocides happening to asian people in China, North Korea, and the Middle East. They could include human rights advocates like Yeonmi Park or Chen Guangchen. Sadly I found this discussion divisive and politically charged.

How disappointing! As a simple exercise I encourage everyone to go to the UN’s website and type “communism” in the search bar. You will find no critical articles. Then type “colonialism” or “church” in the search and compare the articles to the articles in the original search. You will find the UN has a dangerous bias in favor of communism. Now I’m not claiming colonialism is without fault, but to only focus on negative aspects of colonialism without considering it’s positive contributions demonstrates bias. What’s more startling is when you search “Mao”, the UN has no critical information about him. Nothing is said about the 50 million Chinese who died during the Great Leap Forward, nor will you find anything on the cultural revolution where capitalism and religion were fiercely targeted by Mao! It’s important to note, the UN offers no protection for religion in their sustainability goals. It becomes very concerning to me when I come across webinars like this one and hear comments that are eerily close to that of Mao Zedong. For example the idea that colonialism is the source of evil which needs to be eliminated in western society originated with Mao Zedong : “Racial discrimination in the United States is a product of the colonialist and imperialist system. The contradiction between the Black masses in the United States and the U.S. ruling circles is a class contradiction. Only by overthrowing the reactionary rule of the U.S. monopoly capitalist class and destroying the colonialist and imperialist system can the Black people in the United States win complete emancipation.“ (Peking Review, April 19, 1968, pp. 5-6). Considering China’s (PRC) current role in the UN with a seats on the Human Rights Council as well as a permanent seat on the securities council they continue to commit multiple genocides mainly against the religious. We have good reason to feel faith is under attack! In recent years we’ve had startling examples which validates the fear of religious persecution. For example: During the covid lockdowns going to church was criminalized. Pastors were stripped of their first amendment rights, arrested, and put in jail for practicing their faith in America and Canada. During the lockdowns Alcoholics were permitted to go to the liquor stores, yet attending an in person 12 step program (based on Biblically principles) were off limits! Furthermore, cancel culture has canceled Dr. Sues and replaced it with books like Gender Queer in school libraries! Yet to raise opposition based on long standing Biblical values gets you tagged as an extremist! According to a report from Open Doors Christians killed for faith related reasons doubled from 2020 (2,983) to 2022 (5,898). In the same report Christians detained or imprisoned without a trial reached an all time high in 2022 at 6,175. When you look at the reports breakdown by country, African countries seem to top the list for Christian persecution! We are living in dark times, and there is no doubt an assault on Christianity. It saddens me to see this organization contributing to the attack on religion!
