He played in the metal lane. I feel over the years playing. I see some scales just don’t sounds as dark as others depending on the key they are in. I really don’t understand why but it’s just from playing through scales in many keys that I notice this. But to be real that’s just my best guess at a really vague comment he made. Also I probably don’t know as much about theory as someone like dime bag and sure as shit can’t play in the same universe as he did. I don’t want the metal lane comment to come off like I’m hating on him. The man is def legend status.

E is aggressive n energetic, F is optimistic n energetic. Fm, on the other hand, hella dark. But also, E is the natural starting place for guitars in standard tuning. The design of the guitar is begging you to play it in E. Move that up a fret it's going to be a bit of a mindfuck if you don't play it often. Everything looks like one too many doubles. That's what I've always gotten out of it. Also, probably even more of a mindfuck after a few too many Black Tooth Grin doubles.

@@nivedevl2667 so I use an amp simulator on my computer called Guitar Rig 6, but the more I learn it’s not the best so I suggest doing some research on different amp sims like ones you can get for STL Tones and stuff. Hope this helps 🤘🏼

@ well, not you then, but that band is un original. It definitely comes from pantera. I just don’t like it when a newer band uses an older bands song title . It comes off as lazy to me. If this is you doing a cover , then no worries.

Those are all great bands. Prince and MJ included. Also no ones is dissing Metallica, all the bands you named are great og metal, punk, and grunge bands, pantera being one of my favorites but are still different genres from hardcore, which does take inspiration from those genres, being the point of the video.
