So what are you using muriatic acid

It is expensive but it certainly works. Anyone who tells you, you can remove black lichen with a pressure washer - such as my pretty powerful ALTO Dynamic 7100 - if the staining is extensive, has never tried it or succeeded. My Indian sandstone of ten years was extensively stained - probably 70% covered with black spot - much, much more than in the video. I have tried over the years with the pressure washer and year by year I have not got it clean, so the spot has accumulated. The remover has cleaned most of it off in one go. I have to buy more - which I shall do because it works and will bring the patio cleaner than I can remember it being since it was laid. Now I have to ensure that it never gets as bad again!

rip off , pressure wash it and all of that will be removed

Hi When you say black spots do you mean lichen and what is the stuff you are spraying on with the pump sprayer, is it sodium hypochlorite ?Thank youSinon

This is an amazing product. By time I got to the end of our path the stones at the start where clear, I just had to give a gentle wash, as recommended, enough to get off any roots still there. Wish I had known about this product earlier and used their Black Spot Preventer.

Expensive but it does work, it looks like new.
