All My New Ant Queens and Update on The Egg 🥚
That’s some reallly beautiful footage
Thanks
❤❤❤❤❤
hi, where did you find Leptomyrmex erythrocephalus for a long time I want to find and contain them, but I can't find them in any way?
This one was found in kuringai, but it turns out it’s not actually a queen
@@antseppingThis species is incredibly rare as I understand it
@@antseppingAnd maybe I can buy it somewhere. I've really been looking for some types for a very long time, such as:Leptomyrmex erythrocephalus Iridomyrmex lividus Cataglyphis bambicina Camponotus fulvopilosus Camponotus detritus.Of these, I have been able to find and buy in the last 9 months so far only Camponotus fulvopilosus
@@antseppingDo you know where i can buy them? I have been looking for this species for a long time, I have a list with ants that I would like to buy, but in the last 9 months I have been able to find and buy only Camponotus fulvopilosus. Here is my list if you know where i can find and buy from it, please write (Leptomyrmex erythrocephalus Iridomyrmex lividus Cataglyphis bambicina Camponotus fulvopilosus Camponotus detritus).
Cool
Have you tried keeping complex myrmecia urens? Or other rare species? I suppose it depends on where you are based as these e.g. urens, picta, abberrans group are more common in australia’s southern regions. Impressive collection man.
Thanks, I have never had anything from the urens complex before, would be nice to get one though
Not a rare species, found commonly on lower south east of SA, little desert VIC, eyre peninsula and throughout lower adelaide hills. Just not found on the east coast… Otherwise very great production quality. 👍
Oh, alright thanks for the info 😊, thought they were rare as I’d never previously heard of them
Cool
sadly the seller was importing illegally
REALLY
@@antsepping yeah
So gealous on this mermycias
Yea she looks pretty cool
nice
Yeahhhh
Glad to see the queen I sent up is a celebrity now haha. Hope she strives for you ❤
Didn’t expect to see you here haha, she’s doing pretty well at the moment still having most of her brood, she’s a beauty of queen 🥰
If you have myrmecia pillventris I would like to know how hard they are to keep
Not 100% sure, since we bought the colony with 14 workers
Is this a super colony
I wonder if i should get a queen ant for my birthday
Yea, they are great creatures to have
Yes definitely cuz If you start young you'll do good
Worker, a queen would have larger gaster and darker gaster, and a ˢˡⁱᵍʰᵗˡʸ thicker thorax, but it’s hard because they look so close to eachother
Oh, alright thanks for the info
@@antsepping hope u catch a queen! I love these ones
@@FloridaAnting thanks, I’ll be searching as much as i can
4:22 yep I have one and she has not layed eggs in a whileeee.
Yea Tarsata are very annoying, I might actually have one with larvae, haven’t checked her in a long time and she is taking in protein, well will have to to wait and see
You need some more mate... hahaha. Very nice collection you have going on
Thanks 😊, I am getting 1 more species then I’ll probably have enough XD
@@antsepping you need sp.17 😉
@@DillAntAdventures I am trying to get 17 :)
Ur collection is impressive af
Yea haha have a lot of species, in a few months time I’ll likely have even more
Is there like a park or something I can catch them
@@yingzhang9539 Cumberland state forest is pretty good, has nigrocincta, Brevinoda, lots of Tarsata and even found a fulvipes queen there once, it’s also not a national park so you can take from it
I caught Rhytidoponera queen not sure if it's a worker or queen
The queens thorax will be about level with its head, it will also have like a circular part on its thorax
Thats nightmare fuel in so many ways 😱
So cute!!!! Just found your channel, time to beinge everything ive missed so far :D
Thanks, we appreciate the support :D
Enjoy your binge watching lol
some awesome sp you got, the mollosus is awesome as I thought it was restricted to around Perth, also the crematogaster queen at 1:10 lmao
Thanks 😊
Mollossus is usually found in the more Western parts, we got so lucky to get her, there were hundreds of queens flying that night hences the Crematogaster queen xD
Sigma
wow terrifying
Yea they are quite menacing
u sure about that
This is a worker sadly!
Oh, damn alright
I want to see where is the location that they were caught
Found most of them around my house, the Mollosus was found around parramatta
try indomyrex or something might be better
Yea, probably will next time
I've done 40 queen colony
@@user-tg5rh5hc5z it didn’t work though
nooo!!
I know this soundtrack!!! xD
Yep Empires Of The Undergrowth formicarium theme great game with great sound tracks lol
Damn
Has it started laying I see there workers everywhere now always been a cool colony to see in the wild
Not sure, haven’t checked on her since we caught her
Congrats
Thanks
WOW! I was on a bushwalk and saw so many of them on the ground but didn't know which one was a queen and which one wasn't lol.
Yea it’s quite hard to tell them apart, we had our queen for like 3 days before finally confirming it was a queen lol
@@antsepping nice
Nice catch man!
Thanks
I was literally trying yo buy one this morning, where did you get her?!!!
Around Kuringai
You want to try and search in more wet forest that have lots of ferns and the soil is rich in detritus and is quite moist but they are insanely rare
Not a queen 😂
@@Myrmessia we found Oceli
Ehh, still could be a small queen. we will just have to find out
I caught a Pheidole ant straight after I saw it mate it immoderately started shedding its wings and started laying
Nice
Did you find them in the morning or 8:30 at night? I have wild M. brevinoda at my place and I see the workers out hunting at night. I have just made a video of this.
At night
@@antsepping Thanks.
@@MoreliaAustralia all good, good luck finding em
This is a new dream species added to the list 😅😍
Yea, they are an amazing species
Hey! 😄 really love your videos!! I’ve recently moved here in Sydney for Auckland and have been stalking your account since and during the move😅 I used to do a lot back there but had to give away for the move:( Your videos have are very descriptive and hav given me motivation to start ant keeping again, especially going out and finding queens so thanks for that!☺️ Just curious, are you up to any trades?
Great commentation, and great video
Thanks 🙏
This is cool.
Such a beautiful colony 🤩
my dream be like
Yea, it’s always a relief when the first workers hatch
Surely you give me a free nest, anyways good video as always. How much were the bull ants?
They were $80 + 2 Brevinoda queens
We may do a giveaway soon 🤫
Ooh giveaway 😮
@@AntsVIC yea possibly 🤫

ITS a explorers song GD

I caught 4 garden ant queens and their in the same colony. I have a rainbow ant with brood and an unknown species to m(Maybe Phiedole)
