Proof of the derivative of arcsin with example
Let's show why the derivative of arcsin is what it is and provide an example. Let's also discuss what the integral looks like that yields an arcsine function. As always, any feedback is appreciated! Has this helped you? Was anything unclear? What are some problems you are needing help with?

    Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth, upon this continent, a new nation, conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived, and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle field of that war. We come to dedicate a portion of it, as a final resting place for those who died here, that the nation might live. This we may, in all propriety do. But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate we can not consecrate we can not hallow, this ground The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have hallowed it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here; while it can never forget what they did here. It is rather for us, the living, we here be dedicated to the great task remaining before us that, from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they here, gave the last full measure of devotion that we here highly resolve these dead shall not have died in vain; that the nation, shall have a new birth of freedom, and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.

    On question 1 why isn't it 1 / 15? Cause you drew 1 number and you have a 1 and 15 chance to draw that number.

    • @Its_mathemagical
      @Its_mathemagical 2 роки тому

      Because it’s the chance the the number you draw is a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8. So there’s 8 possibilities out of 15 total numbers.

    Based on the bit of research I've done, the "Bottoms-Up" method is actually a shortcut for the Australian algorithm for factoring Quadratics. It's longer, but you're able to see the mathematical logic. As a visual and conceptual math learner, I'm all about that. I do math, based on understanding logic -- not by memorizing steps. I also like using area models for factoring Quadratics. Factoring By Grouping is NOT cute. Most people don't even know where it comes from or why it works the way it does. I also think it's good to have a version of the Guess-and-check method is one's back pocket -- in case the numbers start getting too large when using an AC approach.

    • @Its_mathemagical
      @Its_mathemagical 2 роки тому

      Thanks. Understanding the logic is highly important and I spend a bit of time in my classes teaching the logic and reason - definitely in higher mathematics. In my experiences though, this is a method that has helped a lot of students that are not as inclined to know the "why." It must be the algorithmic approach as opposed to geometrical approaches or the guess and check method that they can grasp and use.

    • @chocolateangel8743
      @chocolateangel8743 2 роки тому

      @@Its_mathemagical Admittedly, this is a rather simple algorithm to memorize (at least for the short-term) -- coming from someone who sucked at memorizing algorithmic processes I didn't understand in school. However, I also think it's something that someone could forget if not put to use every now and again. Until I went around watching a bunch of videos -- and even talking to some high-I.Q. people about it -- I thought the way I learned math was weird. Interestingly, the more and more I get into math, the more people I come across that think the way I do.

      @@chocolateangel8743 you’re absolutely right about east in the short term but easily forgettable (use it or lose it). I’m so happy you have gained an interest in math over the years. It’s beautiful. Hopefully I can make content in the future that may possible help where you are in your math journey. Thanks so much!!
