How is it like as poc students like is there a ton of racism and discrimination and is it easy to make friends
Everyone's experience is different. I personally didn't experience racism or discrimination but it is a PWI so at times I felt uncomfortable. I was lucky enough to find friends the first week and we stayed together all four years. The POC community is very close knit which helps because we can all advocate for each other.

They did so many updates to Willow since this video was posted. I was in Willow 2112 from fall 2022 to spring 2023. Willow 2111 is now a common room with a round table, a couch, and a flatscreen tv. The microwave isn’t in the hallway anymore (it’s also in the common room now). They redid the sinks in the hallway on the first floor so now students can actually wash the dishes. The exterior doors are blue now instead of red, and they redid the siding on all the buildings. And for most of the year I had to take cold showers cause the hot water just could not be fixed until they had to like reset the whole system or something. To anyone going into Willow: THE WALLS ARE THIN. I could hear music playing on the third floor. I shared a wall with the bathroom and could hear **everything** going on in there. And If your dorm is near one of the exterior doors, be prepared to have people knocking on your window to be let in. I think that’s all for now.
