Some things I enjoy in my life. My family and various work and non work topics.
Enjoyed the day at Spencer’s Lawn Care and interviewed the designer of the new Reap mower.
This is a short video of our get together at Spencer Lawn Care Christmas celebration at Shlabach engines in Apple Creek Ohio. With a short interview with the owner and developer of the new Reap mower. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks for posting the video of Reap! It was very nice meeting you. Blessings this Christmas to you and your family.
Thanks I hope your machine is a great success. It was very nice meeting you and hope you have a great Christmas and a happy new year.
Hell yeah buddy 😁
Thanks! Cool ideas!
To no Brasil e nao sei como comprar uma Maquina desta isso em uma fazendinha e tudo de Bom O MEU NOME E OSVALDO DO DISTRITO FEDERAL
You can go online to see if you can buy one In Brazil
Thanks for sharing. Just like you, I found out the finish bolt, washer, and "string cutter" are a larger diameter. I now keep spares for TC and finish on hand. I have knocked the protective sleave off, so I'll watch the welds.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
where was that ?
how long did it take?
I said around the 14 minute mark that it took me 6 hours this time. I had to go back and listen to the video. I couldn’t remember.
@@J_bpropertycare awesome, i watch with low sound
Nice work, enjoyed the video and I love the Ventrac!
Thanks , glad you enjoyed it. I love the ventrac also.
I was wondering why you aren't using tire chains on the outer 4 wheels so you can mow the steeper parts.
I have a pair of chains. I use sometimes, they aren’t the greatest pair in the world. They are a big pain to put on and most of the time when I use them something snags the latch on the outside they come loose and get down between the duels in the field the you can hardly get them off cause the inside hook is way down between the duals. I would like to get a full set for all 4 outside wheels , I just don’t want to fork out the extra hundreds of dollars they cost right now.
Thanks for sharing... that Ventrac is simply the best and amazing! Love the contet , youe channel and the equipment!
Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it.
Fine job done,Sir

There is nothing like watching you repair a driveway with the Ventrac.... Great job and I am a fan! The kids you share the more I will contact and follow ...
Thanks 👍
@@J_bpropertycare i am going to be your #1 commentor for your channel!
@@aaronburford5701thank you very much. I will always appreciate you being here.
The driveway should never be the low point as it will become the waterway you might need to call in a bulldozer to regrade the driveway, so it has a ditch on either side, and it becomes the high point, steering the water away.
Yes i agree, and the home owner understands that as well . But as of right now this is what he wants done, until he decides to do something else.
😀👍
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great stuff, Jerry! I just found your channel, and I will definitely be returning.
Thanks , glad you enjoyed it. And glad you will be coming back.

Love watching the ventrax cut those steep grades and banks. Doesn’t de diatomaceous earth help kill yellow jackets?
@@gilbertgreens not sure what that is, that you’re talking about that kills the yellow jackets.
NICE WORK
Thanks
😀👍
That thing is awesome!
Thanks
Rewatched again! Love the Ventrac and what it does to gravel driveways!
@@aaronburford5701 thanks
It's a beast!!
Yes it is
You all have the best videos that feature the Ventrac! Liked, Viewed,.Shared and rewatched again!
Thank you very much
I have a question about the power rake for you. Have you used it much on rocky ground with heavier rocks…not limestone, but rocks on a farm road going up a hill in Ritchie or Gilmer? We have a road that has bigger rocks, close to maybe 3-4” rocks, and the slope is steep. It’s within the limits of what the VenTrac can do, but I haven’t seen anyone use the power rake on anything that isn’t dirt or crushed limestone and relatively flat ground.
@@Scott_Limer24 I have used mine on large limestone like the size of your foot, but I don’t like it on that it does a lot of jumping and bouncing around on those giant stones. I have also seen some large stones get jammed inside and lock it up. But I have also seen it roll individual big rocks out of the ground the size of your head. With out missing a beat.
:O holy shit
I’m looking at getting a ventrac for my farm, and I’ve got to say I am really enjoying watching your videos showing me what is possible on that machine. What’s the steepest slope you’ve been on?. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks. I can’t say for sure about the steepest I’ve been on. I don’t have the slope gauge. The maximum they recommend is 30 degrees in any direction, but I guarantee I’ve been somewhere between 35- 40 degrees at least. But generally when you get that steep you loose traction and spin out or slide down the hill. Thanks for watching.
@@J_bpropertycare cheers mate, take it easy.
@@Spiderman50505 Thanks, you too. Good luck on your tractor shopping
Yellow Jackets are no fun. Glad you didn't get stung by any, nice work also!
Thanks!

Awesome job, how many acres did ya'll mow and how long did it take ya.
@@medlinlandmaintenancellc according to google earth altogether around 6.6 acres. It took 4 hours
@@J_bpropertycare Kinda what I thought but the hills threw me off a little, but nonetheless the ventrac shines on.

Nice cleanup. What a difference watching real time and speeded up time...
Glad you liked it
What is that pipe on the rear of the Ventrac? Is that for extra weight, or a bumper?
@@johnevans6053 yes both
Do you have one of the models that you are only allowed so much time on a slope before you need to return to level ground so that the engine will receive proper oiling? How does that work in real-life applications?
@@johnevans6053 I have the Kubota gas engine, I’m not sure what the recommended amount of time is on the slope. But I believe the Kawasaki engine is allowed on a hill without changing direction or flatness full time. I just do what I need to do ,and haven’t had any issues.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
As always, enjoyed the video. So your videos have cost me a bunch. Bought a new VenTrac a couple weeks ago. Have about 8 hrs on it so far, love it!
Sorry I cost you so much,😁but very happy you enjoy watching my videos , congratulations on your new Ventrac. I know I love mine, it’s a joy to operate.
