It's a beast!!
Yes it is
You all have the best videos that feature the Ventrac! Liked, Viewed,.Shared and rewatched again!
Thank you very much
I have a question about the power rake for you. Have you used it much on rocky ground with heavier rocks…not limestone, but rocks on a farm road going up a hill in Ritchie or Gilmer? We have a road that has bigger rocks, close to maybe 3-4” rocks, and the slope is steep. It’s within the limits of what the VenTrac can do, but I haven’t seen anyone use the power rake on anything that isn’t dirt or crushed limestone and relatively flat ground.
@@Scott_Limer24 I have used mine on large limestone like the size of your foot, but I don’t like it on that it does a lot of jumping and bouncing around on those giant stones. I have also seen some large stones get jammed inside and lock it up. But I have also seen it roll individual big rocks out of the ground the size of your head. With out missing a beat.
:O holy shit
I’m looking at getting a ventrac for my farm, and I’ve got to say I am really enjoying watching your videos showing me what is possible on that machine. What’s the steepest slope you’ve been on?. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks. I can’t say for sure about the steepest I’ve been on. I don’t have the slope gauge. The maximum they recommend is 30 degrees in any direction, but I guarantee I’ve been somewhere between 35- 40 degrees at least. But generally when you get that steep you loose traction and spin out or slide down the hill. Thanks for watching.
@@J_bpropertycare cheers mate, take it easy.
@@Spiderman50505 Thanks, you too. Good luck on your tractor shopping
Yellow Jackets are no fun. Glad you didn't get stung by any, nice work also!
Thanks!

sure is a beast
Thanks
Awesome job, how many acres did ya'll mow and how long did it take ya.
@@medlinlandmaintenancellc according to google earth altogether around 6.6 acres. It took 4 hours
@@J_bpropertycare Kinda what I thought but the hills threw me off a little, but nonetheless the ventrac shines on.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😀😀😀😀😍😍😍😍😀
Looks good love that property I'll take it 🤣
Great content, love the channel! It looks so peaceful out there .. enjoyed this one!
Thanks
Rewatched! Great video and content!
Thanks again!
Nice cleanup. What a difference watching real time and speeded up time...
Glad you liked it
What is that pipe on the rear of the Ventrac? Is that for extra weight, or a bumper?
@@johnevans6053 yes both
Do you have one of the models that you are only allowed so much time on a slope before you need to return to level ground so that the engine will receive proper oiling? How does that work in real-life applications?
@@johnevans6053 I have the Kubota gas engine, I’m not sure what the recommended amount of time is on the slope. But I believe the Kawasaki engine is allowed on a hill without changing direction or flatness full time. I just do what I need to do ,and haven’t had any issues.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
As always, enjoyed the video. So your videos have cost me a bunch. Bought a new VenTrac a couple weeks ago. Have about 8 hrs on it so far, love it!
Sorry I cost you so much,😁but very happy you enjoy watching my videos , congratulations on your new Ventrac. I know I love mine, it’s a joy to operate.
HAMMER DOWN!! Nice work!
Thanks!
just picked up a new 4520P from Sunset. great group of folks. Impressed to see the lifting capacity of the loader
Congratulations
Fyi if your on a z turn and get on hill. When or i should say before going down turn where you go backwards down the slope. But yeah ida loved to have this little monster mash tractor. One day. 😊
@@dariensmith7871 with this thing, it doesn’t matter forwards or backwards down hill, work either way.
Another quality video with great content with the Ventrac! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks
where's that ?
Looking good! Do you know what your steepest slope was on the hillside? The steepest I've seen with the slope meter has been 32 degrees on a pond dam.
Not sure I don’t have a slope meter but I guarantee I’ve been well past the 30 degrees many times. These videos don’t show steepness well at all. I would say sometimes 35 maybe even 40 degrees. Sometimes spins out or slides down the hill.
@@J_bpropertycare that's awesome man, be safe and enjoy, we have hills here around where I'm located in south-central NC, but no Mountains.
How many hours on your machine now? Any major problems?
I’m probably close to 1100 hours I’ve had several problems. But I did buy it used it had just over 400 when I got it.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤
👍 Thanks!
You bet!
Enjoyed the video. Those Ventrac's sure look nice. Two questions: 1- can you explain the purpose of the pipe that is attached to the hitcher receiver on the back of the machine? 2- Generally speaking, how much do you charge to mow fields/cut brush very similar to what you show here? Not trying down to pin down an exact price, just getting a ballpark figure. I know every property presents different challenges/obstacles. Just curious about hourly rates or per job rates, however you do it. Thanks
@@Scott_Limer24 I made that pipe for some extra weight on the back and it doubles as a bumper. When I’m brush hogging I’m at $90.00 per hour in my area. Depending on where you’re located it could be worth a lot more.
@@J_bpropertycare I figured it was for weight & protection, just wondering if it served any other purposes. Thanks. We're in central WV, Gilmer County area not far from Glenville. $90/hr seems pretty reasonable. Appreciate it. Watching some of your driveway repair videos now. That power rake is one awesome piece of equipment.
@@Scott_Limer24Thanks . I’m in Ritchie county. Been to Glenville hundreds of times

I love your videos and content. I enjoy that you use the Ventrac that I think it's the BEST one out.... Great job and keep them coming!
Thanks
👍 Beautiful property! Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching
Do you charge per hour brush hogging? If so can you disclose how much per hour I’m in Vermont with a ventrac tough cut and we grow rocks here do I have to charge by hour not by job. I’ve been charging 125.00 per hour but think I should be a little higher it’s not cheap with repairs when I hit a larger rock. People only usually brush jog once a summer do ours gets really high
I’m only at 90.00 per hour. Not a lot of people around this area can afford to pay much more. But I definitely understand what you’re saying. It’s very expensive keeping this equipment running.
@@J_bpropertycare ok yeah same with up here but I can’t eat the cost of breakdowns. Combine that with taxes health insurance and liability insurance. Still trying to dial in my numbers so I can make this work full time
@@pangst19 I have a full time job as a maintenance mechanic at a window factory, so I get health insurance there. But I would love to be able to do this stuff full time. Just not enough money in this area to make a decent living by itself. I also mow 18 yards and do gravel driveway repair with my Ventrac. I’m also a substitute school bus driver in the winter. It’s hard to keep up or have any free time. I’m still just getting by.
NICE!!
Thanks!

Love watching the Ventrac work, great usage! Always love your videos and your channel. Any thoughts on the John Deere's situation? Just curious....
@@aaronburford5701 Thanks. I haven’t heard much about the John Deere situation, but from the little that I did hear, in my opinion, any company that chooses to be on that side of things is a very bad choice. And bad management.
@@J_bpropertycare I respect your opinion and thanks for sharing! Looking forward to you and the Ventrac making things happen. Could you tell you have been missed sir?
