@@mh_nix it's at 3"15 in the video. There was a small explosion. And SAED means Super Amped Element Discharge.

I seem to figure out. You placed a small barrel bomb and the activated Counter Peak Performance and performed SAED finally. Nice tip. Good to know that.

​@@nhoccon1210 oh, the bomb counter. The small bomb allowed me to SAED as you said, but there was no counter peak performance (CPP). CPP doesnt trigger with bombs, but I used a guard point on the bomb and since I have the switchskill counter morph slash equipped, this buffs the damage of my phials. I have a video on the channel about this if you're interested

@@jodhinagnikap923 hey there If you grind for anomaly lvls eventually you may drop arena (forlorn, infernal springs and normal arena) quests. Alternatively if you know someone with the quest, you can ask them to post it and clear it until it drops for you

Hey there The strat still works. I've redone my run a month ago to get a better time. but theres something Ive forgot to mention in this video: this strat works best for 271+ anomally investigation or the Special investigation version of the battle. In case you have trouble, you can also check Tawashi channel for the original video from where I got the strat. In any case if you need help feel free check my more recent version of the hunt or ask any question :)

​@@mh_nix Thanks for replying. I didn't know you had, cause UA-cam doesn't notify you if somebody replies anymore, which is good but annoying when you WANT to get replied to. As for the strat, I'm nowhere near as good as you or Tawashi, so my Risen Valstrax hunts take 17-20 minutes, which is why I was looking for a strategy to try and make it faster. I was convinced the strat doesn't work cause Valstrax's element hitzones still seem to drop to zero when he roars even if I wallbang him after the short chest charge. This is even before he goes into Risen state. Do you know why that might be happening?

@@affablesage9582 are you switching the elements on the starburst bugs to water? In my run I got the RNG where it was water from the beggining. But try switching it and then wallbang

​@@mh_nix Nah. I thought it'd work with the elements already on there. Can it be any element or does it specifically have to be Water for waterblight?

@@affablesage9582 Change it to water. I only tested with water and fire. Thunderblight will cause a ko which will make him enrage. Never tested it with iceblight

@@mh_nix I tried when Rise was first out, but something felt off about it. Maybe it was just me, or maybe there really was something wrong, and it got fixed over time, but it feels much better these days. I kind of miss the stun and KO of the impact phials, but the elemental deal so much damage! Also, I suppose that a weapon with attacks like Amped Element Discharge really ought to be an element focused weapon, no?

@@Beowulf_DW They really did impact phials dirt on sunbreak. That's a problem of this DLC, element and raw have no balance for some type of weapons.

Thanks I wasn't really the pet attack, but now that you mentioned it looked like it, but it was actually the wind pressure from Valstrax Charging his chest. At 3:59 you can see me take this wind pressure on the face lol

You mean the blue bar by the phials? That's the Frostcraft bar. Frostcraft it's a skill present in the Velkhana armor, but it can also be acquired via augment or melding. It basicaly boosts my damage. If you want to check the specifics you can check the kiranico database for how it works :D
