In my experience (4 seasons in the majors and a few before that in mbdl/mcba) turning on hitboxes increased my batting avg. significantly, you should try it, it might take some time to get used to it but it helps see where the ball lands where the pitcher is looking, among other things that I don’t want to type out individually
