Yeah, Trick 1 - be Prot pala or warrior - your life is much easier Trick 2 - hire the holy pala to stun the adds as much as possible, but only after moving them away from fire and 3 seconds before a new bolt is thrown. Trick 3 - Have a CD for every single crackle and call for ring of frosts when the adds are going nuts with buffs stacks.

Its to do with the fight interaction with damage reducing you to below 10k sets you to 1, but that seems to double dib and functionally provide you with two lives if you have a shield with a value of over 10k. IE you can take half a double strike that pops the shield but the second half of the damage is stopped from killing you for some reason.

max mastery i had about 137% value i think

Ensuring to maximise blood shield with 50% DR running during Fued. You need rng on your side at the moment to get the kill as if you take both halves of the double attack with 4 stacks even through 50%, its usually a kill unless you have an insane blood shield rolling.

u can see his inputs below his abilities and see on his plater that the head is targeted and see the name in his target frame both times hes in the air hes certainly not just afking lol

HPS was 11.5k from the BDK, healers doing 15.6k/15.9k. 1:48 shows the time that he tabbed to the exposed during mangle. hate comment cos why not? A quick check on logs shows you the information you seek before making a comment like this.

Indeed hitting the head is the play, since ptr this fight has not properly updated unit frames in the UI. Even in the standard UI, your player bar become Magmaw thats how messed up it is :P

3% Attack Power has much more value than 6 seconds on IBF duration for this tier. Its really useful to have in certain settings... but low value on most fights.

I definately feel its the optimal way to approach the fight, but we just had a bunch of alts and low experienced people in that comp so not the best performances...

We do that now, this was just the prog kill. Does somewhat depend if your group has much AoE, and its not worth taking him near a large tendril ever. So its very scenario dependant, but you should aim to enable AoE.

What great idea with the combat tag. I like to use these macros when leveling so it auto targets the next thing, but thats a great addition for more end game versions!

This footage was of prog and not optimal play, Your right it can be used off cd on most fights without issue. Only time to delay bone shield is when you want or need the ms and don't want to risk nitro back fire or its on cd eg- sinestra, or council if your going to chase a tornado, conclaive if you swap platforms or have to kite on Anshul etc etc, or if you want it to eat a specific tank buster mechanic .

You want to wait until you have full vengence and pop DRW befire you apply your first outbreak.

You can snapshot ur dots to make sure they're hitting the highest tick damage

I find that the runic power passive generation is usually wasted as your playing around 120-130 RP all the time. I would not currently see any value unless you can trigger the killing blow aspect of that talent during a fight.

And yet its surprising how many people don't know it!

If you want to have the defensive approach, Mastery majorly out weighs both Dodge and Parry. Both should always be reforged into Mastery where possible. I am presently taking the Stam>Haste>Mastery approach now that the tier is on farm for me but whilst progressing, definately prioritise Mastery.

@@riggz_gaming I see, and what about hit and exp, I've seen people say that if you don't do haste build and go mastery hit and exp cap don't matter

The new meta of the Stam>Haste>Mast is proving to be the better performing build to maximise both your healing and your damage output at the cost of the larger safety net of a massive mastery shield which can be more beneficial for progression. After my melee dps got some 372 gear in week 1 and were pushing solid dps, I was having threat issues on pull specifically in the first 4 gcds. If your having issues, consider rolling away avoidance stats you may have to reach the hit cap and soft exp cap. Haste can also be dropped to attain these caps as haste is a compounding stat for us in the new meta. The more you have the better it feels. Ill be making a new video approaching the haste build soon buy Riyani and Subtlefw have already made excellent videos on this. I just have a slightly different take which Im chasing gear peices for at the moment.

We opted for a controlled kill as pushing crackle too quickly was a big problem. But yes Nef was parked in the middle and we pivotted when the OT had to move adds.

In black phase im moving to ensure im not stood in goo. This was our third or fourth pull of the boss if i remember on beta so not a great execution here. Definately better to stand in melee and heal during the window to do so. Still make sure you can see your not in black goo though.

With careful kiting, use of cooldowns, support from the Holypally and a clean reset on all the adds. Its a wipe if any adds catch a fireball or a breath from Nef.

Through all of wrath tanks have been able to chase and beat bottom performing dpsers. Vengeance does make it alot easier to do so now. I think over powered is the wrong term. Over performing compared to the other tanks, sure, but each tank has their own specialties and DKs favor raiding.

@@riggz_gaming Not true! In 10 man raiding a tank in WOTLK never came close to what you're doing here. In 10 man raiding it's bringing another DPS, I have worked with many tanks and DK's are by far the most powerful ones out there. Even the ones that don't try; "bring the player not the class" ====> Sure blizzard, sure... Same goes for UH DK dps in dungeons and 10 man raids... It's still the same old story, some people are carried by class (not insulting you personally or targeting you just stating the facts about the inbalanced nature in PVE)

I think that theres too many variables in play making it hard to state the damage strength of the tank. If you have equal gear, chain pull, between 4 and 5 mobs active at all times, then ofc aoe specialised specs will dominate in 5mans tanks included. In raids single target specs will rise to the top. Looking at the warcraft logs for week 1 and 2 of cata i think youll find in a raid environment the tanks are below everything but frost mages.

Hey! Great question - I play with shift and ctrl modifiers on my primary buttons to free up space on the UI. Heart Strike Macro below - My Death Strike macro has recently proven to become buggy so I have stopped using it but I used to have my Parachute cloak and Engi belt macroed on Death Strike. #showtooltip /startattack /use [mod:shift]Pestilence;Heart Strike /cancelaura Hand of Protection - this is in for Halfus Wyrmbreaker mechanics.

Yeah wasnt my best performance, we were all so focussed on figuring out the fight, I was more focussed on hitting as manny Death Strikes as possible than optimising my damage.
