If samus actually failed to cool them down not only would the space station have been destroyed but so would the ex parasites so it would make no sense for the SA-X to do it It had to be that surviving professor and then he just happened to be infected by the X so that the X formed professor Would try to shut it down but he wasn't doing a good job with it

To play devil's advocate here, I actually believe the Federation wanted to use the X for genuinely good purposes. If the SA-X was able to replicate Samus's Power Suit, they'd finally figure out how to make them for their soldiers. Federation Marines wouldn't just be relegated to a pile of corpses before a boss, they could actually SURVIVE ENCOUNTERS. And besides, the uses for replication wouldn't just be for protection. The X could be used to replicate crops and livestock, vastly reducing the cost of food. Starvation would be no more! *HOWEVER,* this is very wishful thinking in their eyes. While their visions might be well-meaning, they don't actually realize how dangerous the X actually ARE. Samus was absolutely right to reject her orders here, the Federation was way too naive for their own good.

It's neat how it really doesn't look like the SA-X is aiming for the Metroids. It honestly looks like it's targeting the machinery itself, like it's smart enough to realize that destroying the equipment used to create its predator species is more important than killing the few offspring already made with it.

Only took me three tries. This game kinda felt like a chore tbh :/
