@@BB-kc9cf The original samples were made with the Elektron boxes, and the granular synth I then put those samples through is the Tasty Chips GR-1, heavily featured on the channel.

@@paulsmith6343 Thank you! The Keystep is controlling only the GR-1 here, I'm playing the HS via the pads and utilize the note latch to keep some of the drone department sustained while tweaking the GR.

Hi , quick question, any special set up for the KS37 to play nice with the GR-1?

@@paulsmith6343 Disable the MPE on the GR-1 🙂 I had some odd issues with the two until I realized to turn that off altogether, which solved a few problems with the Seq of the 37. Also you need to be mindful of how gigantic chords you are playing with certain settings, that at times pushes the GR's CPU too far.

@@resonanthousemusic aha! Yes I've noticed that , the LFO rate kept jumping even though I'm not sending any CC's other than note on off commands

@@MartinPool Thanks! What exactly would you like to know? I can definitely elaborate on everything, and it'd be helpful to get some external thoughts on what could be considered as key info, so that I could begin to implement on the bios going forward (or backward, too).

@@resonanthousemusic I've seen some videos where they have a little bit of overland text describing what they're bringing in or changing as the track goes on. Like maybe that you're bringing up a new track with the snares, increasing an LFO on the rack, maybe something about what midi the DT is sending to the rack...

That's definitely something I'd be interested in doing, would just require a little different form factor from the "live improv" idea (since these aren't planned as such). However, I will expand my videos to different types/more in-depth ones, focusing on certain aspects of the gear I have and such, so all ideas are very much welcome.

@@RaccoonEatingCacti I'd be out of line saying that I'd be implementing things _actually_ based on wider academic concepts - however glitchy drums and thrumming bass are my forte. You may expect stuff in that vein going forward (in case the earlier bruk/breakbeat things don't quite scratch that itch).
