The only problem I have with this is that it deprives another protagonist of landing the final blow to the villain, with Jotaro defeating Kira and now Giorno defeating Pucci in place of Josuke and Jolyne

My head canon: Emporio's victory in the original and world's restart is the result of the GER's action. Pucci even before Emporio defeated him, he was already in an endless loop and his first death started the cycle.

Another alternative is that noturus B I G hunts pucci since he is the fastest thing

It's surreal that the speed up canonically affected the whole world in stone ocean, so giorno had to have noticed it. Yet he felt no need to reverse it back to normal? Kind of a plot hole in the original ending.

It's annoying if you actually know japanese. xd But the ending is peak.

And this is why Giorno is not in this part. He is way too OP and can solve any issue with minimal help. Side gravity? GER: No. Time speed up? GER: No. The end.

Honestly, I really like this because I really hated the ending of Stone Ocean. Think about it carefully, at least one Stand user in the entire world would have had the power and desire to stop him, and they totally would have.
