Haha, yesterday i was thinking about to name my upcoming testing video with some broke man's dyson in it :D. But the vis nav is still 1-2 level above from what i have tested so far regarding carpet cleaning but i am not done with the testing yet. The sad thing about the terrible edge and corner cleaning is that the unit should be able to perform much better. It uses a less advanced front sensor like the irobot s9 is doing but they are pretty similar so they should be able to archive at least some close performance. But bang for the buck (i payed about the same like the kickstarter) it is really good and outperforms most of the bigger names in the game.

In dem Bereich sammelt sich leider über die Zeit einiges an Wasser (der „Einfüllkanal“ geht tiefer in den Roboter hinein), was dann in größeren Tropfen auf dem Boden landet.

@@cardinalroma7495 naja normal ist ja relativ. Ich finde es eher einen Designfehler, der bei empfindlichen Böden schmerzen kann. Das war auch einer von mehreren Gründen ihn nicht mehr zu nutzen.

@@frickhelm ja da hast du recht, welchen Robo benutzt du dann für die tägliche Reinigung?

it is indeed. there are a few better performing robots out there but this one should be a runner up or tie for first place regarding hardloor vacuuming [i have not done my full testing cycle yet]. Sadly it has really bad edge performing at the current firmware - something that needs to be fixed asap.

@@frickhelm I hope the company does well initially and can become a new competitor, it does remind me of the dyson but at 1/3 the price. I'll be picky and say the robot is the ugliest one I have seen but given it's price, it has lots of potential

have you seen any improvements in cleaning time? some people reported this (i am not running an i7 anymore) which could be possible due to the "virtually increased" samplerate of the floor tracking sensor resulting in better data quality.

@@frickhelm The robor now runs much slower, which means it sucks much more cat hair from the carpet. I am very happy with it.

@@RickselHostingStadskanaal yes that is the main purpose of my mod but according to some reddit user despite the slower driving speed he noticed a decreased overall cleaning time. So i was courious if you have noticed the same.

Die Fluffybürste vom Dreame hat eine ähnliche Ausrichtung wie Dyson (nur von links statt von rechts). Video dazu kommt heute Abend, wenn es wieder was dunkler ist ;). Saugtest kommt die Tage online. Danke und Gruß zurück 😃

If i remember correctly : yes. the wheel modules are fixed with metal pins that needs to be removed and are only accessible if you remove the related cliff sensors.

Bist du denn sicher, dass kein Wasser im Roboter landet, sprich wenn du den Roboter in die Hand nimmst und bewegst, hört du im Roboter Wasser schwappen? Du kannst den Roboter auch per App leerpumpen lassen, was sich bei einem eh schon leeren Roboter entsprechend anhören würde. Wenn die Station sonst funktioniert (Selbstreparatur durchgeführt? Wischbett mal per Homebutten geflutet und abpumpen lassen?), dann liegt das Problem wohl beim Roboter : entweder ist die interne Pumpe defekt, zugesetzt oder aber auch die Auslassventile für die Benetzung der Wischpads sind durch das Reinigungsmittel zugesetzt.

Danke, für die Antwort. Die Station flutet ohne Problem. Daher wischt er zuerst noch nass und wird dann immer trockener. Habe ohne die wischpads versucht, da sind dann keine Wassertropfen am Boden zu sehen. Das andere muss ich noch mal versuchen, aber wenn der Robo immer meldet zu wenig Wasser im Tank, bitte nachfüllen, sollte es nicht an den Auslassventil liegen? Dann wäre er doch voll? Manuel kann man nur mit einer Spritze Wasser nachfüllen? Macht man da hoffentlich kein Ventil kaputt? Nur mit Wasserdruck geht da nichts rein oder? Möchte gerne alles noch versuchen bevor ich ihn zerlege

@@nicolassama2740 the robot self feels not cheap, but has big problems with water leaks while cleaning.

Ozone is not a gimmick. The waste water of my previous L10s ultra was atrocious even though I added a lot of Desinfectant. The waste water of the S1 smells neutral. There is a guy on reddit who will do an in depth analysis using an Ozonemeter since he is also sceptical. I have a bacteria test kit flying around which I will use for a different test to see if the Ozone has a meaningful impact on bacteria concentration in both tanks.

@@illegalduckhunting You will have clean water on the clean water tank but the dirty water tank will still be dirty, even if they sterilize the water before its added to the dirty container, bacteria will build up over time unless proper maintenance is done. If there was smell on the clean water tank, that sounds weird and I'd blame it on an absolute lack of maintenance or having nasty tap water. I'm open to be proven wrong, but I don't think the generator will fix the issue previous owners had, it might delay things, but won't fix it because otherwise they wouldn't pass CARB certifications (I don't think they have one) or would be an actual hazard, especially in small rooms. So, IMHO, either the ozone is hazardous because it leaks enough ozone into your room or the amount of ozone it produces will be insufficient as bacteria to fight bacteria

@@nicolassama2740 mate I‘m in Austria. It is one of the cleanest tap waters on earth. There is still a certain amount of bacteria in the tap water which is normal. In the L10s clean water tank there was what looks like algae buildup after 1 year. That is easily corrected during maintenance but I never stated that the clean water tank was the issue, did I? I just came back from a week of holiday where I let the S1 clean for 3 days. The waste water smelled neutral. I‘m not here to prove anything. If I state the Ozone is indeed working (or the combination of ozone and cleaning solution which I will find out soon enough. You either believe it or you don‘t. It is not easy to measure as mentioned. You either need an Ozone kit or a bacteria kit and I doubt my kit is accurate (color changing) enough to get results. I have a friend which has the right equipment for the job though. Ozone behaves differently in solution. It has a halfing time of 10-15 Minutes. Depending on factors like the character of the fluid. It leaks to the outside but minimal. There is a TÜV Gutachten which states the exact values. Fraunhofer Institut also developed a small ozone generator which is meant to be installed individually before devices. I strongly doubt that they developed snake oil.

Der Wasserverlust (die Tropfen) kommen vom Füllstutzen und nicht vom Abwassertank. Es verbleibt zu viel Wasser in dem Bereich nach dem verlassen der Station. Aber ja , das ist leider ein großes Manko.

​@@frickhelmdie Tropfen meine ich gar nicht, meiner hat richtige Pfützen hinterlassen und es ist das Schmutzwasser das bei mir regelmäßig vom Eufy verteilt wird. Es gibt einen neu entworfenen Wassertank, der das Problem beheben sollte. Leider hatte mein Exemplar noch den alten Tank.

@@cardinalroma7495 nein das konnte ich nicht feststellen. Ich weiß aber auch nicht welche Revision des Schmutzwassertanks hier vorliegt. Die Tropfen sind aber leider auch teilweise wirklich richtig fett (je nach dem wieviel Wasser durch Bewegung nach draußen transportiert wird) und für Böden wie Parkett einfach eine Katastrophe.

@@frickhelm sehr schade das man ein so gutes Produkt mit solchen gravierenden Problemen released. Musste meinen zum Schutz der Böden, wieder zurückschicken.

Meiner hat nun 5 Vorgänge beaufsichtigt und 3 ohne mein Beisein abgeschlossen. Konnte keine Wassertropfen feststellen. Werde nochmal genauer schauen wenn ich zuhause bin. Bestellt bei Amazon zum Primeday.

Hallo, eventuell ist der Stecker auf dem Mainboard selbst defekt (Kontakte,Lötstellen).

Kann mann den Stecker ersetzen neu Lötten?? Oder brauche ich eine neue Platine???Die kostet 160€ Und am Motor kommen jetzt 4 volt an,das ist doch zu wenig oder?? 😊

Ja das Video dazu existiert noch nicht. 2 Möglichkeiten : entweder ist einer (oder beide) der Bumpertaster defekt was in deinem Fall naheliegend ist (wenn sich der Bumper so frei bewegt wie du schreibst), ansonsten kann auch die Gummidichtung für die Kamera Probleme machen, wenn die nicht richtig sitzt (oder sich dort Staub festgesetzt hat). Mein Tipp wäre hier wie geschrieben eher einer der Bumpertaster. und damit ein Fall für eine Ersatzlieferung.

If you are using these as a vacuum replacement (what they are not) i would go with the Roborock. Mopping is pretty much the same mediocre level (at least for my needs) since both do not mop tiles and gaps very well. The dyson leaves the floor dryer thanks to the 2nd roller. Overall i would not recommend to buy one of them.

Hallo, du musst entweder das Mainboard ausbauen bzw. zumindest lösen und anheben um an die Vorderradaufhängung zu kommen oder aber, wie auch hier schon in den Kommentaren erwähnt, gibt es wohl die Möglichkeit den Vorderradmechanismus auch mit kleinen Schraubenziehern zu lösen, ohne das Mainboard / Kameramodul ausbauen zu müssen.

hmm yes. i am running the washg1 for a while now and it is able to remove even longterm grime from the laminate gaps if you gave it enough runs but that is more dustlike stuff. the wax crayon is not that easy to remove but i was at least expecting a bit more. Both of them maybe work better on totally sleek floors.
