Leaf collector for lawn tractor- One of a Kind

A tow-behind leaf collector that I built for my Jonsered lawn tractor. This collector holds 20 cubic feet of shredded leaves compared to 7.5 cubic feet for the stock leaf collector.
All Weather Portable Generator Enclosure
Переглядів 345 тис.11 років тому
Overview of an enclosure designed and fabricated to provide weather protection for a Generac 4000XL generator. The enclosure allows easy transportation of the generator around a site, or to another site.
you sir, are awesome !!!
this is genius !!, exactly what i need
Una obra de arte
Outstanding!! But I also would like to know where you got your hat!!👍🏻
This is amazing, I wish I could build something like this
I'm glad you did this. I've been looking for ideas, I see so many generator sheds but none made for the cold environment like we have here in North Dakota and I think something like yours would definitely fit the bill. Awesome set up you've got there.
Yes, why isn't there a trimmer/cutter on wheels commercially available? I recently bought a Chinese made string trimmer on plastic wheels off of Amazon. It's cheap, in every regard, but does the job on a steep bank. I wish something more sturdy were available to purchase.
You must be an Engineer, and I say that with the highest respect. Your design, concept and actual build quality are absolutely professional. I work in this business and you have a higher quality installation and design than some of my suppliers!
I see alot of uses for something like that. Mainly for cutting grass and weeds for animal fodder.
fantastic idea, i could really use something like this as I'm getting up there in years myself and have two very long and steep banks that need cut.
Sir, I commend you on your mobile enclosure! The design is extremely well thought out, and honestly, I hope you have a patent on it. I can see competitors (e.g. Zombie Box) coming up with something like this. Kudos to you, sir !!!!
Excellent! How bright! Thank you! Good luck with the deer problem! 👍👍
Amazing, well thougt out and constructed . Thanks for the video,
Best one I've seen on UA-cam
I converted mine to Propane. Runs much cleaner and can be infinitely stored.
Hey, that's great! I've been looking at emergency generator setups for a couple of years and seeing this for the first time today. You had a lot of good ideas while building your rig. It would be perfect if it was LPG so you wouldn't have to deal with the issues from ethanol and gas storage. Thanks for posting.
Amazing build!
Amazing attention to detail. Only question I have is how do you lock it down so it doesn’t walk away while you sleep....? LoJack ?
Did you consider converting the generator to Natural gas?
Oct 2022. The world is going to Hell. Great ideas for a backup power source. I have a 9000 watt generator. Thank you for inspiring me to do another project that is geared to my family's survival.
Hello, How did you attach the foam egg crate material to the inside walls ?
Nice job, but the enclosure cost you more than the generator itself.
I have never seen a generator with the outside battery clamps for the ground on the machine. I don't think it's necessary because the machine is already grounded to its frame. All of the necessary electronics have been installed and including the ground. The fan installation should be on the metal box enclosure and it would do the same job. If your machine needs repair, the fan on the machine would be in the way of servicing the machine.
Holy War Wagons!
This is exactly what I wanted. Thanks
YOUR NEED TO PATENT THIS ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!
ua-cam.com/video/y-zrtmXbkBI/v-deo.html
Thanks! You’re a genius!
Patent it?!😊
For the downhill you could add some sort of extending wheel to make it stable and fit the angle of the hill
Dang, that thing's skookum as frigg
Man this is awesome
Comment.....Nice Job I will pay you to build me one.... I have the NortherTool North Star 13kw.
That is an amazing generator box. Would have liked to hear it run open and closed. Is the acoustic foam fire proof? If so where did you source the foam. Construction beyond my ability.
Wow, Awesome job. Love It.
Been watching enclosure videos for like a week yours is so far beyond anyone else’s. Truly next level.
simply brilliant.
I detect the craftsmanship of an aircraft mechanic.....
Nice setup..what did you use for insulation?
This is the best portable generator housing I have seen....ever!
Won’t the12V fan for the power head fight the airflow from the engine blower?
This is awesome! All you need is a set of head lights and it's complete. :)
⚠️Here are the safety rules of using portable generators. This is a very important announcement. It is important to follow all generator safety rules whenever we use portable generators: Everyone must see this. This is just a reminder for everyone’s safety. 1) KEEPING OTHERS SAFE: Please do not allow an unqualified person or your children to operate and service the portable generator. Just because some manuals don’t say that doesn’t mean it’s safe. That is important against the generator safety rules. We also need to be keeping an eye on our children too. You need to make sure that your children are not playing near the portable generator especially when it’s running so they won’t get electrocuted. Generators pose electrical risks and they can be hot during an operation. Please keep your children away from the portable generator at all times. It is important to keep our children safe especially our little ones. Be aware of all the hazards. 2) WHERE TO RUN YOUR GENERATOR: Some people use their portable generators indoors which increases the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. It’s important to have a carbon monoxide if you have a gas generator. Never ever use your generator indoors even if your doors and windows are open and even in the garage is not safe to use a portable generator. Not even at your porch and your deck. It is never safe to use your generator indoors and in enclosed areas of your home. Your generator needs to be 15-20 feet away from your house. 3)🔥FIRE HAZARDS: Never refuel your generator while it’s running. You need to let your generator cool off before refueling it and before storing your generator. Never overload your generator too. Never ever back feed your generator. You should never plug your generator into a wall outlet. Also never store propane tanks indoors. Please keep flammable things away from the generator as well and please don’t smoke cigarettes near the generator. Having a fire extinguisher next to the generator is also important against the generator safety rules. 4) GENERATOR OPERATION: make sure your hands are dry before touching the generator. Never use your generator in wet conditions. Don’t let your generator get wet. You need a generator tent if you need to use your generator during wet weather. Please don’t wear loose clothes when operating the generator. Turn on your generator before plugging in appliances. Use the right cord for your generator. Please do not use worn out cords. ua-cam.com/video/I1jT3ANENvI/v-deo.html and here is a video more about keeping others safe when using generators Hope this helps. Please make sure you follow all the generator safety tips. Thank you

Why would you not buy a honda generator and do away with all this BULL
Interesting one question what is the little box on the front for? Looks like it could make a great air inlet
