Pacific Rim Tonewoods (PRT) has been supplying premium wood to guitar makers and luthiers for over 30 years.
Our mill is nestled in a forested valley of the North Cascades; neighboring British Columbia and Alaska are rich with spruce, the industry standard wood for soundboards. Our relationships throughout the world allow us to ethically source a wide range of woods for guitar makers and luthiers, while our commitment to science is generating a new standard of sonically graded soundboards.

Thank you so much for this beautiful music.
Wonderful Pajduska. Love it.
Beautiful!
Bravo!!!!!!💚from Brazil for you!!!!
💘👋✌
This duo is absolutely amazing! I hope I'll have a chance to see them live! Thanks for sharing this great recording of their amazing performance! 👍
one thing all acoustic builders are not considering is that the bass strings should be longer than the treble strings-i.e. all guitars should be reverse headstocks because in nature, which is what music is the sound of nature-the male-lower E strings are most of the time bigger-longer and the sound resonates longer than the treble strings simply because they are deeper.
Jesus likened people to trees, after he healed the blind man he asked him what he saw and the man answered i see men walking around like trees!!! If you study how a tree operates the photosynthesis process the absorption of water up and down the trunk-they operate just like the human body!!! And every tree is different in its sound scape-like he said in the beginning-its not about what the wood looks like but how it sounds-i.e. according to how it reacted to the climate while it was growing.
Only thing missing for me is transforming the human interpretation of the sonic character of a guitar, or a piece of wood, into a visible and minimally biased EQ curve. Saying "brighter, rounder, warmer..." etc is still so subjective.
These guys are leading the field of the science of quantifying measurable wood properties and correlating them with acoustic performance. Importantly, PRT has developed a certified coefficient (Q) for each set of panels produced. Q ~1/damping coefficient.
Is this Love!!!
Is this LOVE!!!

Koncert marzeń!
Miroslav Tadic is a virtuoso with magical hands who coaxes sounds from this instrument that become incredibly beautiful melodies
Wow!!!! Just wow
Wow, I like the sound of it.
Hearing different instruments and microphones is very interesting. Their playing, especially guitars in this video sounds a bit hard compared to Niksic git. festival from 2020, yet still nice. Second guitar sounds better to me. M49 type microphone with what looks like a big ribbon microphone near violin sound amazing. I hope to hear more about the technical side of their work. Thank you.
Puno hvala za puno suza; uživao sam ih isplakati!!!!!!!!!!
Prekrasnoća!
Primoroso.
A musical journey that lifts me up to a land of beauty far away deep in my imaginations.
Any guitar starts singing in his hands..Just so very beautiful

Розчиняюсь, поглинає кожен твір, дуже пронизливо, чутливі і витончені музиканти !!!!!! Браво!!!!
Wow!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 - It's just the coming together of two sublime musicians with the result of incredibly rich and beautiful music!! Thank you and well done 👏👏👏
so very interesting---typically when a violin and guitar play together--the violin overwhelms the guitar. But you guys managed to not let that happen and could hear both clearly.
They using mics.
Miroslav is one of those people who feel guitar, not just a technician.
Has anyone done similar work on woods for violins?
Not to our knowledge.
Awesome, thanks for sharing 🤗🤗
