Man I grew up in one of the house on Purnell st that you went by still going through legal action to get that was my GMA Georgia scott’s house , and it just saddens me to see how the neighborhood is now 😢I was born in 89 and grown up there from then to 2001 when I moved to Texas where I currently reside and looking at it now from then is a distant memory of what that street used to be to be , don’t get me wrong it was definitely still hood but we looked out for each other and every kid on that block never went with out thanks to family and caring neighbors 😢

This is all a lie! Tell the people the truth about how the hospital was cleaned out, completely sanitized and ready to go in just a few days by the coast guard, but the leaders decided to keep it closed and charge FEMA for the build of the new hospital….. It’s a shame what LSU along with the government, and insurance companies did to these poor people.

I'm new to your channel I just described I'm from Homer and you actually passed on my neighborhood and that particular neighborhood is really not that bad I don't consider that a hood it is home and will always be home to me and others😮😮

Moved to Louisiana from Antioch California. But grew up in Daly city California. Moved to Gibson. Worked in houma courier. I was a press man operator. Than move to Morgan city. Still here. Did doordash in Thibodaux. And worked at Big Mike's BBQ for a little bit.

Dude THERE IS SO MORE TO OUR CITY! You literally drove through one of the poorest areas of the city. We also have beautiful older established and newer neiborhoods. We have 2 large hospitals, 4 area jr high& high schools, various museums, many car dealerships, shops & a whole lot of other tourist attractions. You didn't even go across the "Twin Span" of the Intracoastal Canal to the Eastside of town. Next time you come this way maybe ask for a Houma Native to give you some pointers on how to show case our city...Our home🆗️

Okay I am a meridian Knight born and raised on the south side where you're driving through but listen all of those place is past rundown been abandoned will seeking higher grounds on the North side so those were the slaves started from in those neighborhoods so that's all that's old news we are much better than what you are showing we are a very progressive meridian Mississippi in 2024 and beyond
